Absolutely fantastic interview! Informative and fun with a great energy. Thank you to everyone involved. I have been interested in Anne for a few years. I too only live a short distance away in Rochdale and should of known about her many years before. Just glad the story of this amazing woman is in the world.

Great interview thanks! Just a note to the question about whether Anne was ever talked about in the media. When she was in London in 1824, she arranged to visit a treadmill that had been installed at the Cold Bath Fields Prison and this visit was written up in The Times which she found 'mortifying' and 'annoying', presumably because it was an unusual thing for a woman to do. She drafted a reply letter to the editor explaining she was interested to see how it worked but not from a 'scientific' point of view so trying to downplay her 'unusualness'. This story is in 'No Priest But Love' By Helena Whitbread.
