Season 3 definitely wasn't a wasted season for Stefan for me. Stefan is a complicated character and it was so fun seeing the dark side of him we didn't see coming.

I agree with you 💯. I loved Bonnie she was my favorite character on vampire diaries. She's one of the main reasons that I wanted to see the show because of how great she was in the books. I also kind of love witches too. She was beautiful and awesome too.
Vicki was more interesting in the probably less than 10 episodes she was in than Matt was in his entire existence in all 3 shows 😂😂😂

Lmaooo I can't stand Matt's character can't STAND! His character is so pointless and I don't see the point of his boring character YAWN. They put him in too many shows because nobody cares about him. And yeah maybe she had a love for them because they are the most least interesting characters who got too much shine, (Matt & Alaric). And lol I think they did Tyler dirty like he was the only first wolf on the show I think they could've developed his character alot more. The transformation of the wolves were actually fascinating but they didn't use that enough with him. I know he was a douche but his character could have went through a character dev faze. As far as Bonnie she was too good for that show the writer was and still is a hater and she CARRIED that entire show along with the characters smh

My only issue with Elena haters is that they constantly bring up the fact that’s it’s annoying that everybody wants to save her, but THATS not Elena’s fault and Elena never forced the people around her to put her first before everyone, in fact she actively fought against that and tried to sacrifice herself numerous times for everyone. You can’t really blame Elena for how everyone else treats her even though it can be annoying, lol. And that’s always the main reason I see Elena haters complain about, also they complain about her constantly bounces between the brothers but so did Katherine and no one cared, also Stefan and Damon could have just walked away as well but stayed so you also can’t put that solely on her. Also could she be hypocritical at times yes absolutely but so could EVERY other character so what makes her so much worse than everyone else? I don’t know like Elena will never be my favorite character but she was NEVER as bad as people made her out to be.

Damon and Bonnie will always be the GOATS of TVD, and I will always love Ian for having Kat’s back behind the scenes. Julie tried so hard to diminish Bonnie but she literally outshined all her precious favorites.

Elena was denied the chance to be a character beyond the Not Katherine Katherine; the writers etc. pretty much even say as much, that Elena stopped being a person & just became a plot device. So as a plot device instead of a person, Elena isn’t able to be written as someone having an identity outside of the love interest.
Katherine however remained a person throughout so she got to be a fully developed person, with explored trauma & backstory & interplay between past & present, got to exist independent of the male/s she was playing with/across from.
Elena, at pivotal point in her development as an older child growing into an adult was never given the chance to figure out who she was outside of being the Do Over Katherine for the Salvatores, the key ingredient producer for Klaus, the physically weakest yet spiritually strongest protectors of the loved ones who continued to lay their lives on the line for her after she explicitly tells them to stop doing so etc. etc.. Elena is turned into a chess piece (a pawn at that) for everyone else to assuage their guilt on, make her pay the price for their wrongdoings etc. etc..
Sorry if I sound worked up, I just know what it’s like to be an abused & dismissed teenager with survivor’s guilt, so feel Elena gets over-hated for things out of her control. I acknowledge she’s not perfect, I actually like that about her, but she’s also not as much of a villain/pain in the ass as many try to make her out to be for being a traumatised, grieving, in survival mode human (even as a vampire) doing the most healthy & healing thing there is to do in that situation (actually feel & express your emotions with resorting to cruelty, callousness, or downright homicide).

Stefan is the main character/protagonist not Elena, the story isn’t abt the love triangle wit Elena, Damon & Stefan it’s abt the love between Stefan & Damon the brothers & their love & hate relationship & history also how it ended Stefan sacrificed himself for his brother he’s the MC not Elena & Damon is the Deuteragonist
