Nice recommendations! I just picked up my 4runner. I want to take my time with mods. Trying to see what is really worth it and what is just not necessary for how I will honestly use it. 👍
I have a 2019 and 2021 4Runner. The factory LED headlights are great. I believe they started adding them in 2020. Interior lights still suck and upgrading to LED was my first mod.

Tint 💯
Nice rig man. I'm slowing starting to mod my 2020 Off-Road. I agree about tint, that was 1st thing i did. Also, I ordered and Installed a pair of convex side mirrors right after tint. I frigging love this mod. No more blind spots. With one glance into either mirror I know if its clear or not. I went with Suma Performance w/defrost option, non-tinted. The glass quality and clarity of image is noticeably better than OEM. There are cheaper ones on the market. I'm serious when I tell people its the best money I ever invested in a vehicle.
When I first got this rig I hated the mirrors and started shopping for blind spot add ons. Everything I read said those Convex mirrors are game changers. While also researching I seen someone suggesting to adjust the mirrors a certain way, basically out further than you would normally. Since I did that and got used to it I don't have much of a blindspot to worry about but I'd still like to check out those mirrors someday.
It says in my owners manual not to put windshield tint over camera that assist radar for cruise and accident or pedestrian braking on my 2023 just saying
Yes window tints are very common. I love window tint. However you are doing a disservice if you do not warn people that every state has different laws regarding the amount of window tint that it is legal to have. When you cross state lines, you are subject to the laws of the states you are in. So, for example, while you may live & have your car registered in a state where it is legal to have a front windshield tinted, if you drive in a state where windshield tint is illegal or only allowed a couple of inches from the top, such as MD where you can only have the top 5” tinted 35% VLT, you may be subjected to a fine and a removal order. In MD, the first fine is $50 and you must have it inspected by a police certified station and made legal within 5 business days. After that, fines go up to $1K. My point is buyer beware. If the police are looking for anything to pull you over for, tinting is an easy one.
What’s the width on your wheels? I have 285/70/17 KO2’s mounted on the TRD pro wheels. They’re getting installed Thursday with my Bilstein 5100 kit. You think I’ll run into issues running a 7” wheel on 285’s?

Not at all. I don't think I could make them rattle if I wanted to. They are very solidly mounted.

What on board air did you go with? I see you had the air hose hanging in the back.
Originally I had planned on hard mounting something. Most likely ARB stuff under the hood. I had a Viair 88P that saved the day a couple times so planned to mount it somewhere. It has been so handy and convenient to just connect it to the battery of whatever vehicle needs it that I haven't mounted it. I just keep it in the case on the roof.
How is the seat belt cutter/ punch mounted does it interfere with anything or slap the column- thx
It's just zip tied to the turn signal lever. When you need it you just pull it and the cover stays zip tied in place but the cutter comes with you. Doesn't swing or hit anything. Don't even realize it's there. I did a video a while back on it.

windshield tint doesn't get you pulled over?
I've driven nearly 200k miles over the last 10 years with a tinted windshield in whatever vehicle I owned at the time and never an issue. It is super common around here and I've seen quite a few rigs with 20% on the windshield. (Knock on wood.)
