This isn’t news. Wendy’s has offered this $3 breakfast deal for a long time.
The fast food companies are playing media and consumers acting like they're doing something special. Most people don't even want fast food for breakfast... give us a good lunch deal.

The thing about it is that American society is so ignorant and easily impressed that everything that anybody says they believe it. They take it and they talk about it and they believe in it thinking that they're deeper people than what they are. That's why the whole Kendrick and Drake thing went the way it is. All these people suddenly acted like they are so deep and thought-provoking just because Kendrick made some music as if those aren't the same people that made Drake one of the richest and most successful rappers ever 🤦🏽♂️. They do terrible things all year round but as soon as Easter comes around (in this case Kendrick is the proverbial Easter) then they're in church dressed nicely talking like they're saved christians all of the sudden just for attention. Everybody knows this about the American public so that's what they're playing on.

@@Nullzeros for me the savings would be almost $5. if I were to buy the Mcdouble, 4 piece nuggets, fries and a drink separately my total would be 9.86 so to get that all for $5 is a decent savings.

I hate that some of the fast food restaurants make you use an app for the best pricing. I prefer to pay with cash because I do not like their rules for what they do with my data and how you must use their litigation services if you have a dispute.

Fast food isn’t inherently unhealthy. Avoiding it makes it easier to make health cautious decisions, but as long as you have good self control, fast food can healthily be apart of your diet. Given these prices, though, I doubt anyone would be opting for fast food.

Dude, 3 dollar things AREN'T gonna fill me up. Just go back to what prices were a few years ago. Combos at $9.99 are all they need to do. Went to Wendy's today and paid $17 for a combo, which means I won't go back for awhile. I can't.

Menu prices aren't the real prices. The deals on the app are the real prices. For example, if you have two people and want McDonald's, person 1 needs to order the BOGO Big Mac deal, so you get two Big Macs for 4.50. Person 2 orders the BOGO shake deal so you get two shakes for 3.19. Then you wait 15 minutes and each person orders the $1 large fries deal. A meal for two people for $10.
But why jump thru hoops trying to eat their poisonous "food"?!?!
No, it won't work, because they make you wait 30 minutes in Houston, Texas; or, it might be longer than that. We tried it and doesn't work. Also, fries get cold, duh !?!?!?
This is actually a bad sign. It means that sales are declining and when it comes to Americans they're not shunning fast food b/c they want to eat healthier, they're shunning it b/c they can no longer afford it in their budgets. Its another sign pointing to a definite recession....
Companies recorded record profits after the pandemic. They realize they need to reset prices to stay competitive. Not a recession but that customers are done padding the bottom line.

Maybe back in the day this would be a decent indication for a potential recession, but now days I feel like there's too many other variables for why people aren't buying fast food. Prices are up while quality is down. People are more health conscious. People are tired of being squeezed for their last cent, ie: asking for tips at Fast food.

Wendy's got majorly spanked for their boneheaded "surge pricing", and deservedly so. Reminds me a lot of the attempt Coca-Cola pulled to increase vending machine prices when the temperature got over a certain threshold. PR disaster, basically. All they're doing with this is trying to distract from that.
Now, Clownland's approach here is one of the few possibly WORSE approaches. They'll sell you a skimpy AF meal, but only after you fork over all of your data...and what happens if you do? McDonald's ain't sayin'. NOT "Lovin' It", nope!

Before Jan 2021, everything was afffordable
I stopped going to Wendy's years ago when the restaurant near me changed all of their burgers to cheeseburgers so I had to pay for a higher priced cheeseburger even though I didn't want cheese. Of course, they wouldn't discount the price when I told them I didn't want cheese. That kind of greedy move caused them to lose a customer for life. There are plenty of other burger chains as well as mom & pop burger shops with better tasting burgers near me.
Well, I work at Wendy's, and we don't really care if you eat there or not. Just find yourself really hungry one day, and you'll break down and come back to us. I know it.

They always have a deal going on on a lot of their items in their app and they give a 10% discount for senior citizens. White Castle is the best deal on the street a large cup of coffee is $1.50 out the doorwith your senior discount
