I was hoping this particular video would feature the ancient maps of various cultures that actually have the ark noted on their maps... I can't recall if it was previously presented in a Bodhi Hodge video on AiG, but it was definitely touched on elsewhere and I was really hoping to have more of that detailed. Having the ark on the maps of numerous cultures for years after the flood is profound.
There was film on a tv show years ago where a Russian (head of country) had taken his family one year when the mountain was as covered with snow. He and his family had actually been inside the ARC . Lots of people have been there years ago before the government put a stop to it. (1950s?). They know where it is and lve seen where some have said that part of it has fallen off! It’s history and proof that God did what the Bible says! Better than that, this weekend we celebrate God in the Flesh’s being Resurrected from the grave! Proof once again that Gods Word is True.

@@rickygable4328 Wyatt was a huckster who "discovered" a natural rock feature, as any competent geologist would tell you. Rocks in the alleged "Ark", which now conform to the U-shape of the doubly plunging syncline, were deposited initially in a horizontal or near-horizontal position. These rocks were composed of tiny grains of clay, quartz, calcite, anthophyllite, and local concentrations of ilmenitic magnetite as well as poorly sorted pebbles of andesite and basalt. They were products of weathering and erosion of volcanic rocks in nearby mountains and were transported by streams and deposited in a basin. Subsequently, these layers were compacted into rock and folded into a doubly plunging syncline. A marine sea advanced over the folded rocks and eroded and cut a channel in which fossiliferous limestone was later deposited. This was followed by uplift and further erosion that removed most of the limestone and scoured the fold to create the boat-shaped profile. Finally, swelling clays (bentonite) in mud in surrounding mountains caused a large landslide to occur. This landslide carried disoriented blocks of rock and mud that were channeled around the synclinal structure. Some time early in this history, following uplift, the limonite concretions ("iron brackets") were formed in the sediments, both inside and outside the synclinal structure, as ground water from rain and melting snow reacted with ilmenitic magnetite (and pyrite) granules along bedding planes and fracture zones.
I had that same thought about breaking down the Ark and using it for shelter and etc.
Noah didn't have the tear down the boat the build a house. He could've just lived in the boat. Thus justifying yachts for the ultra rich. God bless them all

The Ark is on the foothills of Ararat in Turkey. It has been extensively studied and has been recognized officially by the Turkish authorities . There is an observation center built there and a national park sanctuary.

That is an upright grift. The site is no more than a geological feature. It's an old piece of ocean floor. Complete with manganese nodules, giving the impression of old nails when scanned with a metal detector. What appears to be the shape of a boat is surrounded by another likewise shape. Was the Ark encased in anouther, bigger Ark ? Nah, no way.

Is that the same Gods word that we can demonstrably prove wrong with the claims in the bible, is this video about the same Ark which is structurally impossible to build out of wood as it would not only collapse under its own weight but would flex so much that it would pull itself apart if it were to ever ride the waves, is this the same Ark that supposedly floated on a global flood, a flood that covered all the land, a flood that even if we melted all the retained water in the icecaps could not cover all the land, where did this water come from then and where did it go ?

The Noah’s Ark story was taken from the Epic of Gilgamesh, circa 2500 (or more) BC, almost word for word…all the way down to the bird at the end. It happened to a dude named Utnapishtim.

Question: How do you get approximately 100 years from Noah to Babel?
It says in Genesis 10 that in the days of Peleg the earth was divided. That can be interpreted both as the confusion of languages or as the splitting of the continents. Peleg was born 101 years after the flood happened. My theory is that the groups of people who had the same language gathered in different areas of the land (Pangea) and then the continents split (As we can see at the middle Atlantic ridge the outbreak of a chain of volcanoes and earthquakes resulting in the split up is quite possible).
@@Kalle0490 Yes you are correct, except there was no "Pangea". The earth was a giant global continent with smaller bodies of water, not great oceans(Atlantic/Pacific) as we know today. In the Pangea theory you have to shrink all the continents to make them fit, so this doesn't work? Most of the water on earth pre-flood was subterranean(the fountains of the great deep broke up Gen. 7:11), this is where all the fault line came from. When the water is released it would cause a vacuum of space under the land masses, which then the weight of the water would cause the land to colaspe beneath. So essentially the Atlantic, and Pacific are giant sink holes! This would have shaped all the mountain ranges that we know today, and is why you find fossilized sea life of all types on every mountain range. To include giant clams closed(when clams die they open, which means it happened rapidly), and there is a carcuss of a giant whale in the Himalayas that can be seen via satelite. There is a road made of right angle stones that goes from the Mediterranean to Central America that also can be seen via satelite. So this is where legend of "Atlantis" comes from. Some other discoveries like: giant 600 plus feet trees that dwarf the "Redwoods" of California, were found in Alaska buried vertically. You woud need a tree that large for the keel of the Ark, at 300 cubits (Moses being raised Egyptian he was trained in their math: either a 20.5 in cubit, or a 21.5 in cubit). So the Ark would have been been between 513 feet(20.5 in cubit) to 538 feet(21.5 in cubit).
@@claytonsmith6148 thank you for the reply. My view is also that the pre-flood-world was mostly Land with seas that are like the Black sea or the caspean sea. When I refer to Pangea I mean the landmass we have today befor it split up. I have heard that in order to make the continents fit you have to change the size. I have a 3D project going on where I isolate the continents and move and turn them around on the sphere to see if and how they fit. But that is not finished yet

They found a site that had been discovered and named just after WW2. Forgetting that correlation =x= causation, they gave in to confirmation bias and proclaimed: It IS the Ark!
Call me a cynic, but decades later, I think the tiny Visitor Centre overlooking the site indicates that the Turkish authorities recognize it as a (geological?) tourist attraction rather than a religious site venerated by two world religions.

One of the clues is in the text. It landed upon the mountains of Ararat. There is a mountain in the region called Masis, or Agri Dagh. It has common name because people have seen something on it when there is a heat wave and melt back. It is called Ararat after the fact. So the straw man point of "mountains of ararat (RRT) is void. And most importantly, the Bible says nothing of the Ark's survival. But whatever is up on Masis is certainly interesting.

Well, look for the reconstruction of the origins of the term typhoon in several cultures like the ancient Greeks or the Persians or the Arabs or even Indians or Chinese and Japanese. All of them have terms that sound quite similar even if they had no direct contact with Europeans for many centuries. One might mean strong wind, another powerful storm, but all of them keep a similar meaning. Mere coincidence? I don't think so.

I think those looking in Turkey are looking in the wrong place. Gen 9 shows the landing after the flood. Chapter 10 shows the immediate descendants after the flood (thereby giving the list of families dispersed in chapter 11). Then Gen 11:1-2 states that they journeyed "from the east" to the plains of Shinar. Shinar is Babylon and this is BEFORE the dispersion. Now, if they came from the east to get to Babylon (IE modern Iraq), that would mean the landing site is EAST of Babylon. I don't think it's a coincidence that east of Iraq is the tallest mountains (above sea level) on the planet. I think the ark landed there (whether it's the Hindu Kush Mts or the taller Himalayas further to the east, I have to acknowledge it could be either However, I lean toward the taller Himalayas, but that may easily not be correct I think if we use the Bible as our guide rather than using modern (modern being a relative term as the name for Mt Ararat in Turkey began being used for that area in the middle ages), it would point east/north east, rather than north west. I think this is a case of another place being named after the original and gaining more fame than the original. (Like how New York is much more well known than York England, home of the Duke which is New York's namesake.) Further, this would be the same process that Heinrich Schliemann who used the Homerian Epics as his guide to find it.

Odd, you make no mention of the Duripinar site. There is quite a bit of serious evidence of that being the remains of the Ark. Not just the visual of that site, but the history of that area. From the village of the 8, to the ancient mentions of "the Arl being visible to that day". May want to look into this,it is quite compelling.

I typed "Mount Ararat" which shows as Agri Dagi, then went just N of W to the blue historical landmark flag labelled Nuh'un Gemisi (Noah's Ark). There are 83 photos, with many good ones of the geological structure itself. #1 shows the "large" visitor centre as do several others.
Some photos are fascinating, notably those showing live animals - a gloomy zebra, giraffes and an elephant, no less! Oh, and one of Ron Wyatt too. I think it's highly probable that the Ark was dismantled, with the materials being repurposed for housing and other projects. The Ark wasn't meant to take any more trips beyond its maiden voyage. It's a wooden structure that predates every ziggurat and pyramid, and temple we know of today. So it's very likely that the lumber has rotted away several centuries ago. Unless God preserved it, which is well within His power. But I don't know if it's God's Will to do so.

Though it could be probable that vegetation floated on the water's surface and were deposited by the receding waters and bore their seeds wherever they were deposited. Still, survival would have been a real chore for all living organisms at the time.

So there wouldn't be any inhabitants in Australia until after God divided everyone's languages. AIG also suggested there was a single Ice Age following the Flood, so people either used land bridges from the low Sea levels or boats (because obviously Noah's family were master ship builders). It also seems like Noah's children and grandchildren had long lifespans, until genetic mutations piled on from inbreeding.
I find it very unlikely they would or even could have scavenged wood from the Ark.
First, to be as strong as it was to survive the flood, it would have been riveted very strongly with metal. We have evidence if not proof of this at Ron Wyatt's Ark site.
Josephus and other ancient writers one or two thousand years later said it could still be seen. By that point it would most definitely have been fossilized.
And I find it highly likely God would keep it there as a testament.
Plus, have you ever seen a big flood, or tsunami?
There will be loads of broken trees floating around. It's possible if not extremely likely that the there was much timber lying on the ground waiting for the survivors of the flood to use.

I know this is a bit off topic but the thing that always amazes me most is the non Christian secularists who have a preconceived idea derived from some ridiculous Hollywood movies and that is what they use to refute the bible. The antedeluvian period was a time of strange things and high levels of technology, not like today not the same kind of technology but none the less high level technology. All the pre-flood structures that still stand can could not be done today with the technology that we have. So I think a keen understanding of the little we know is more than proof but people have become conditioned to think otherwise.

Isn't it funny that when the Ark landed on Mount Ararat the Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koala Bears and duck-billed platypuses all made their way to Australia. They didn't set up any colonies on the way or set off in different directions, no, they all went to Australia. How did they cross the seas and the oceans? Perhaps they were all very good swimmers. As Koala Bears only eat Eucalyptus leaves, isn't it surprising that they managed to find these en route in countries where there's now not a eucalyptus tree to be found.

What if Noah's Ark is not on the place where almost everyone think it is, in this biblical passage might be the key, Genesis 11:2: "And it came to pass, as they _(Noah's descendants)_ journeyed from _the east,_ that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there." The question is: Why Noah's descendants were _all in the east,_ and they were not in the surroundings areas of Mount Ararat or in another place of Turkey or Armenia? Mount Ararat is southwest of Shinar, why then they were in _the east?_

Microscopic studies of a supposed iron bracket show that it is derived from weathered volcanic minerals. Supposed metal-braced walls are natural concentrations of limonite and magnetite in steeply inclined sedimentary layers in the limbs of a doubly plunging syncline. Supposed fossilized gopherwood bark is crinkled metamorphosed peridotite. Fossiliferous limestone, which cross cuts the syncline, preclude the structure from being Noah's Ark because these supposed "Flood" deposits are younger than the "Ark."

Consider that mountains of volcanic origin DID already exist and that the region or Ararat and it's mountains were already known. The reason the ark landed on a mountain is because it was the first thing to appear as the waters receded and so it would only land on the tallest peak and there is only one peak of any significance under those circumstance. The Ark, once emptied of animals would have been like a large hotel will all the amenities one had to offer in that time period, so why would one tear a hole in one end of it to make a small house? The wood was also covered with tar and not suitable for a house. Also consider that the dove that went out to find land came back with a blooming olive branch, so trees were starting to sprout early on and Noah, like Abraham and Paul could have lived in tents as they traveled down hill to fertile lands and to release the animal.

Don't take my word for it, go look it up, look up human artifacts in coal mines or how trees can be buried standing up so quickly that they would not rot but be petrified. Science claims those layers were deposited over thousands of years.. which would not allow for wood petrification at all.

i'm convinced that as the Bible refers to a specific location (and events associated with that location that eventually affects the entire world) and that God dealt with the rest of the planet as well during the same time periods...Australia...we know Australia existed just like the Americas yet neither are mentioned in the Bible...therefore just because the Bible didn't mention them doesn't mean they didn't exist...which we know they did...their own histories can be dated back to before Noah according to how things are dated ...the people present then were still of God's creation...the Bible says that those who have not heard of the specific God of Israel, or Jesus, that God has written His laws within their hearts, and that they would be judged accordingly thus covering ALL mankind at the same time...i believe that there are so many similar accounts of the global flood and an 'ark' was because God spoke to his chosen among different regions throughout the planet to build an ark to house the animal kinds from their regions of the planet...that would solve why so many have the same story, but with different people, and how animal kinds from other places around the world could have been saved...just like we know Adam and Eve were the FIRST people...yet Cain was worried others would kill him so God put a mark upon him to protect him...Cain then met (and married) a woman from among these other people...true Adam and Eve were the FIRST...but the Bible doesn't say they were the only ones God created...mostly because, like Australia, it's not pertinent to the Bible itself concerning the Fall, and Redemption, of mankind from the lineage of Adam down to Jesus...the Bible doesn't seek to explain everything...there's just simply not enough room...John says that Jesus did more than could ever be recorded, and that's just the first part of the New Testament...so much more then was left out about the entire planet throughout time...the Bible only touches on specifics because that's all it can do, and that's all it's meant to do...although fully true, it is not fully everything...how could it be...i don't think anything i've stated contradicts the Bible, but might actually answer what some view as contradictions (which i don't believe there to be any in the first place)...there are gaps, and things not mentioned (dinosaurs for instance), but just because something is not mentioned does not make it a contradiction...it only means it was not mentioned...like kangaroos, and koala bears
You can't think of the world we know now as being the same as before the flood, which would have had a much different landscape, and layout? This was a major cataclysmic event that literaly wrecked everything! The Grand Canyon is basically a washed out gully way that happened in minutes! The earth would had been one large land mass with smaller bodies of water(no Atlantic, Pacific, N. or S. America, Europe, Africa, or Australia as we know it), and no "Pangea" all the continents would have to be modified, and reduced in size to fit? The Bible tells us most of the water was subterranean(fountains of the deep broke up), this is where the fault lines came from. So with the absence of water leaving a void, or vacuum, so with the weight of the water the land masses would then colasp(the Atlantic, and Pacific are giant sink holes). Causing the formation of the mountain ranges we know today, and it's why we see fossilized sea life on every mountain range. This includes giant clams closed(clams open when they die), which means this happened rapidly! There is also a giant whale carcus in the Himalayas that can be seen via satelite. Now as far Cain, and his wife, if you go back and read the Genisis account carefully. You'll find that when God told Eve after they sinned that she would now have pain in child baring, which infers that she already had children(but only girls). It doesn't say how long they were in the garden(it could have been a 100 years?), that is the only way there would have been a wife for Cain? Since Cain and Abel were "the first males born"(possibly twins?), doesn't mean there weren't previous children born(girls)? Now dinosaurs is a modern term, first mentioned in the mid-1800's. In context we need to look at this from a historical way, what were they known as in the past? Well it's "Dragons", and they are spoken about through out history, post flood! This is includes the Bible in Job, first we have "Bohemoth", and it's desciption only fit's what we would know as the "Brachiosaurus" or similar family dinosaur. Then we have "Leviathan" a water sea creature so possibly a plesiosaurus or something similar. Noah would have take babies/juviniles or eggs even, this would have been the same for all animals. Because they are smaller, eat less, sleep more, and are easier to care for.
