    Thank you, best and simplest video I've seen for this tutorial, and no ultra fast forwarding that most do! Great work!

    Thank you so much for the video ! I love how you get straight to the point . Question , could I save this as a pes. File for my brothers embroidery machine ? I’m having issues converting logos into embroidery designs for my machine and I’m trying not to have to buy another program .

      Cindy R this process is only to make your logo/design “look” embroidered. This will not create a actual production file for a embroidery machine. Sorry!

      @@blackcapdesign so why even show this as "Making A Embroidered Logo in Photoshop" what good is it if you cannot save it as the proper format.

      This process works great for mockups or proofs to show a client before the work is started. I hope that helps.

    by adding these effects can we send it to printing?

      This is only for rendering, this is not a embroidery file. Thanks for asking!

    Hey! Is there anyway to change a logo I made in illustrator to an embroidery file inorder to embroider a logo with my brother machine

    • @blackcapdesign
      @blackcapdesign  Před 3 lety +1

      “Simply save your Illustrator file. Open the file in the converter program, select the PES format and click convert. It will generate a new file that is ready for embroidery. Save this file and test it by opening the file in your Brother software program.” - Found on smallbusiness.chron.com/convert-illustrator-pes-format-52473.html. I hope this can help.

    Great video - thanks!
    Do you ever continue to edit the logo if the picture it will be on is a close up shot? If so I would be very interested to learn how you do that!

      I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but what I think you're saying is if the shirt was a close up shot, how you would make it look realistic? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if not I think this video will help. czcams.com/video/KCu-IQagg_o/video.html

    Can you do this with a text layer?

    • @blackcapdesign
      @blackcapdesign  Před 5 lety +1

      Hunter Hofmans I haven’t tried but the steps I go through just add effects to the layer your working on. My best guess is that yes, it would work. I’ll try it out and let you know. Thanks 👍

    Hi David. What software or app do you use to record on-screen?

    • @blackcapdesign
      @blackcapdesign  Před 8 lety

      I use QuickTime Pro. Under File>NewScreen Recording hope that helps.
