the emboss effect as seen on screen in photoshop is not so pronounced and clear anymore when viewing or printing the psd image afterwards in another app for instance in lightroom, why is that?
Since we're doing emboss effect, I wonder if you would possibly create a tutorial using the STROKE EMBOSS. I'm not quite getting the results that I 'think' I want. I may just really bad with the stroke emboss or maybe I expect it to do more than it's actually capable of. And... Absolutely enjoy each and every one of your videos. Even if I already know the basic techniques, I still manage to pick up some really great stuff. Like the news channels, 'clear, concise, informative'! I Love it!

When I try to apply the splatter filter nothing changes on my smart object, other filters work such as stylize. Any tips?
When I clic "bevel and emboss" it doesn't appear it stays invisible

Couldn’t you have done this without merging the fork/knife image with the white BG in the beginning? It seems like an unnecessary step.

why.. why was the tutorial necessary ? just seems the embossed part is all that mattered..
Your videos can be done in eleven minutes, if at all to cross ten minutes barrier for commercial purpose. Kindly do not stretch it too long.
