    The season was bad. We didn't get enough stormy weather when the season was on and the fish avoided the innermost parts of the gulf when it should have been good. Some people were lucky enough to hit good schools but all in all, it was too much effort for too little. I did barely okay fishing wise but did not manage as much quality footage as I would have liked and I'm not a fan of uploading vids with only a few fish and a shaky camera with lots of noise.
    NSW and WA had a bumper salmon season this year after 3 poor seasons and fairly enough it's nice they got to have a good break. Here's hoping we get a better season ourselves next year :)
    Size limits, fishing etiquette and lure retrieval techniques, as well as info on quirks of the target species, are all in the second half of the video. I hope this helps anyone hoping to get onto the salmon run either off other jetties or when the fish come around next year in May.

      @JEFFISH  Před 3 lety

      I suggest going to Browns Beach but Kangaroo island should have some salmon either off the beach or from the rocks in deeper cliffsides.

      @@urmitraders8237 West lakes might have them on light transitions with tidal changes. But the fish will be smaller and only a chance of whether you get a big one. The technique is also entirely different from this video.
