I agree. The Buick LeSabre is sweet! The chrome really accents the shiny green paint as well. As for the barn, it will be triple locked. It has an outside door with a lock and the metal gate is double-locked. No cars or fragile items will be stored in it.
Love the 'heavy Chevy' In my opinion that slightly cartoon look, those red lines and spectraflame paint epitomises the classic hot wheels car that I remember from my childhood!
I recall my friend having a hot wheels blown mustang in the early seventies and we had never seen hot wheels before. Always remember how special that car looked compared to our home grown matchbox.

The Buick Le Sabre debuted in the Garage line and had one Boulevard release.
I wonder if the IS was capitalized on the base or if I just messed up in editing...
I've never seen anything other that the basic models in the UK and even those are hard enough to find. We never see this sort of exotic stuff.

Regarding the 63 Chrysler Turbine, this particular casting was released last year in the Boulevard series, with RealRider tires. I had hoped Mattel would release it with plastic wheels so I could use it for downhill racing, and they certainly delivered! The Spectrafrost paint really is something special.
Excellent case! Although I won't be collecting this whole series there are certainly a few in this assortment that I will be looking for at retail. Thanks for posting!
I'm not sure if you're asking if I have every customized cars or if I have put custom painted cars through the boosters. The answer is no to both.

Say, some collectors may wish to fix the Mustang screen, with a toothpick and dollar store 'Fix-All' glue. Keep a weight on it as it sets and 30 minutes later the screen would be down and flush. Superglue would leave a white and growing horrid area, epoxy might not mix fine enough.

good luck with that barn of yours, just remember to lock it up with 3 locks, that way if anyone trys to break in, there'll have to really fight to get in, also only put boxes out there, jamers and lose cars keep inside, otherwise they might melt or fade,
also drink plenty of water collectors in the US,

I don't know if this line is going to get world-wide distribution. In the USA, they are around $3-4.

I don't recall if I have sent a car through the boosters if it had an opening hood.
The Chrysler Turbine car was a concept car that utilized a turbine engine. It could burn any type of liquid or gas fuel as long as you had enough of it. It also sounded like a jet engine when it started. Jay Leno has a nice video of one on his jaylenosgarage channel.
I love the look on that '51 buick. Did you know those tailfins are inspired by a p-38 fighter plane from the 2nd world war.

Hey Mark. Wow, thanks for the shout out! Wasn't expecting you doing a 5 minute presentation about those wheels hehe. I guess what I was saying is that they look a bit cheap on a premium line HW. But that's just my opinion. Using that Maisto Porsche was a pretty good example :)
I do have to say that Volkswagen Beetle casting from 2010 is my least favourite Beetle casting (aside from the 100% Hot Wheels premium, my favourite is the 1989 VW Bug casting), but I'm glad they're using the 2010 casting in this series as, even if it is my least favourite for being so cartoonish, I still like it and will be happy to finally have an all die-cast example of it in my collection. Love the Shelby Cobra Daytona best but I have a thing for race cars with #13 on them.
When I first saw the picture of the video I was really excited because I thought they brought back the Bugatti but I found out that wasn't true lol none the less still looking forward to these.

My opinion on the amount of muscle cars in the Classics line-up: eh, while I'd love to see a few more European exotics and even modern cars like the Viper (which did appear as a Classic) in the line-up, the Classics series have always supposed to have been reminiscent of the earliest years of Hot Wheels, and that coincides with the peak muscle car era (1968-72), so it's kind of natural that the focus is generally on muscle cars, like it or not.
Nope, I have not done any custom painted cars.
