I'm not at home but the '67 Camaro has a metal engine. You're right, one of them in this video has an engine that appears to be blemished/mottled.

Search the internet for Rotating Display Stand. They usually have a plastic mirrored top and they scratch really easily. That's why I have fabric on mine.
Thanks for showing your camaros, I really liked the yellow one with the black stripes. my blue with orange stripes camaro doesn't have the doorlines.
This release also has a base variation. Some have bases with the Hot Wheels logo, some without. The one I got has the logo base, no door lines.
There's also a version without door lines but with door handles. I think all three can have a base with or without the Hot Wheels logo. I believe all six of those versions could also have a painted or unpainted engine. That makes twelve variations, not to mention the super. There's also a relatively common error people are finding where the dashboard is popped up. If you include that, there are 24 versions. O_O
I found two of the 67 Camaros on the pegs at Target today... without the door lines though
I see that there is more than one of these Errors on eBay. These types of errors can and do happen. To be honest, people could fake these. I'm not saying that they are fakes but they could be made. Buyer beware. If a customizer were to try to dupe people with fake customs, doing it on the '67 Camaro Super could be a profitable venture.
Yet more things to be on the look out for. Cheers for that. You sure do love your super it's been in 3 vids now. Lol
There is two versions of this casting on super and regular, the difference is the hotwheels logo on the base. I have the Regular with and without logo. The interior panel is also different (One is more tall).
The Orange one at 5:40 is the first (along with the A-team van) are the first two cars that started my collection as an adult. Didn't the redline version come with both door lines and without too?

Probably my fav casting along with the 70' Chevelle. I'd say the Cuda/Challenger too but the Cuda's base is so low that it sometimes scrapes... not that I roll'em too much.

Here is the SUPER 67 Camaro with a major error! Went for $154.49 on EBAY! What are your thoughts? Do you think it was a custom or does it look like it left the factory in that condition.

I noticed with a lot of the mainline ones that I have, the dashboard is raised at least 1/2 way up the windshield and some even more. Even in your vids it's like that. Out of the 10-12 that I have, the dash is actually positioned correctly on 1 or 2. I tried to fix it on an open one and it just bounces back.. Not sure if this is a production flaw?
They looked like they open. Those looked like pretty deep door lines. But I guess I will find out if I find one and open it lol

The doors don't open, there are just door lines to make the car look more realistic.
Found the super today but it has the normal camaro on the cardboard. It is a shortcard, is that normal??? If it is an error it's a nice one. ;D Didn't see one with doorlines.

no body likes the 67 camaro so i ended with 10 doorlines supers
It's going to be really hard to find the Super Camaro! Congrats on picking up the regular. I picked up another one today at Target Commerce.
I think it is a known variation rather than an Error. Maybe others can share their opinion on the no HW logo on the base.
regular car with no HW logo it has a Super Treasure Hunt base. They ran out of bases with Logo. It is Very Rare.
Thank You Mark for the shout out. I have now been through a total of 27 Summit Camaros and I have not found a 2nd one with the door lines yet. I need to get back to making some videos. I did a video last year on the camaros and only two prior to the summit had door lines the 2010-11 color changers but it was a plastic body non opening hood and the 1968 Hong Kong made Custom Camaro.
The toys r us in chino ca has 7 of these summit camaros. I picked up two of my own. Their is still 5 more guys if you are in the area,pick tbem up tommorow as soin as they open. I left 2 on the way pack pegs top row !!! Ur welcome :)
I found a dump bin of 2011 and 2012 models in my nearest shop rite found my very first super treasure hunt a 1967 mustang coupe and other nice models so I was pretty happy thanks for your help racegrooves

your missing a camaro, there is just a pure silver one, i have a few i'll have to see if i can find that door verson, maybe a casting for a johnny lighting? or another hotwheels line of diecast cars also uploaded my first opening of a sealed 2013 case!
I didn't see a wing window on any of those cars which most readily identifies a 67'.
I have this already even the Super Treasure Hunt.
I was lucky enough to find a regular Camaro and a $uper Camaro in a Walmart Dump Bin at that one Walmart out by Santa Clarita xD Amazing how the staff missed it.

Is the engine on the standard Sumit 67 Camaro diecast or plastic from the base. From the brief shot at 4:38 the base '67 Camaro's engine looked rather muddled compared with the Super.
Hey does Mattel still send out old cars? I found 3 1996 editions on the Walmart pegs!!!!!!!!!
