Hey, if you, as an aquatic, push something out of the water, thats a win. Eurhino truly is a sword master of the water, ive helped kill megapacks that had ducks and spinos in the water and KILLED them. FYI tho i personally wouldnt use tail attack, i use the paddle tail for the extreme speed and agility to avoid those Sarco grabs
Once they get carry on land they done.

I feel like if they’re out in the open ocean it’s an easy fight given the speed and bleed potential of the Eurhino. It also has pretty decent damage

So from my own experience, thrash is so much easier to land but because the damage is mostly bleed a sarco could heal it off and redundify your damage that it's almost useless however you'll "win" most fights. A good thrash eurhino player will always be in and have advantage over a sarco or even deino. Whereas bite is harder to hit because it's hit box is closer to the actual mouth than the beak, and while it does more damage its visually represented as less, so it's less threatening to the target to get hit 3 times because "it didn't hurt that much" for each bite, making it easier to get an enemy way lower than you would with bleed. Eurhino is the most dominant thing in the water by itself, if used correctly and the player knows the match up it's going against. All it takes is practice, experience and knowledge and you can take eurhino far by itself. Pair it with a kaiwhekia and a megalania and you've got a legitimately unstoppable team with exception to numbers being against them or it's a near mirror match up.

Eurhino is honestly pretty fun it feels like the pycno of the aquatics just does bleed and cant tank as much

There is a lot less good official content than you would find community side. I find it more rewarding in officials though.
People fight differently because they have more to lose as well with the slow regrowth after death.
Not to mention when you try to fight something 1v1, it’s safe to assume the rest of their group is nearby to support their friend.
I remember playing this game back when sucho wasn't even added. Its been great watching the game grow.
The problem I have with Thrash ability is that your opponent generally just escapes to land to get the bleed off, leaving the fight unfinished in most cases. Also gives them time to call for reinforcements, which has happened to me. Maybe when other fully aquatics come to the game it'll be viable but I just dont believe it's worth adding that much time to your battle and sticking to regular bite is the better choice. You're so much more maneuverable than everything else and you have speed boosts to escape taking damage so just buzz around your opponent vertically and around in circles and the moment they start charging up to bite just get away from them and make them waste it then go back during cooldown

Whats the strongest dino for pure water fights? Kai, spino, sarco or eurhino?
I like to run Bite over Thrash just because bite can be spammed more often stacking up a ton of bleed and normal damage when pounced. Also paddle tail is better to run over tail attack just because your gaining more speed and turning.
I LOVE dolphin and Kai. I've been able to push entire clans out of the water with dolphin.

If Gondwa oceans were more interesting, or interacted more with the mainland, I would play Eurhino more. I really enjoyed it when it came out, but quickly got bored

Kai is actually really strong its combat weight is 4000 so their bite and barrel roll hurt a lot to sarco, sucho and duck
As a Dolphin fish you can solo a few sarcos, and with two ya can defeat a mega pack of these crocs or at least make them flee on land.
You can so easily dodge their attacks and counter it's insane.

Bite really sucks on Eurhino. It’s redundant to run, considering it’s really hard to land.
tip with the dolphin: use your pounce more. bite a few times then latch off, ive killed LOTS of sarcos and spinos etc aquatics in general by doing this. pounce is a better way to deal damage instead of just biting, it also makes you much more difficult to hit.
Is sarco lunge better than armored tail as defense sarco?
Armored tail on sarco gives 95% damage & status effect reduction on the tail. I only use it when hunting semi/aquatics since you can't really ambush land creatures without lunge.
Both useful in different circumstances.
