Lamb's survival call + amarga's passive bleed when taking damage could be a powerful duo. basically just it takes no damage for 2 minutes and lets the enemy stack bleed
same thing with kentro
Has this been tested if passive damage works during the call duration? I would kinda think it doesnt i wanna see in action

- knock back pycno, when it’s in the spin animation use the strong headshot that deals the most knockback. U will only have chance to die if ur stamina runs outs use charge maybe twice or 3 times and use tail attack.
The old lambeo used to be very tanky and armory. Recently, it is less tanky and less armory, which is fair so that some carni can take it down. But I still like this one no matter how weak it is
I have quite a few opinions on your takes in this video.
1. Tail is still useful. In fact, it is what helps Lamb take on dinos like Allo which you say Lamb struggles with now. The main fact is that it provides an easy tool for knockback. 20 damage and the long cooldown may seem punishing, but it works fine with Lamb's new speed (1000) and great Trot Speed. The cooldown is long enough to hit and run and have it back once most real threats catch up. As for the rest of the roster that would catch up too quickly, rodeo kick does the job. Another thing to keep in mind is that both tail swing and rodeo swing right first. To play well with Lamb, positioning is everything. You can force assailants onto your right side relatively easy due to having both knockback options which syngerize to aid in every single match-up Lamb can have.
2. You mention how bleed is an issue for Lamb. Don't get me wrong, it is. BUT, that's why you always run the healing voice abilities as you can increase your bleed heal rate as well as venom/bonebreak heal rate which also helps in matchups against Dasp or Metri/Meg having groups. Furthermore, the hustle turn radius buff isn't what Lamb needs as most of your damage should be done overtime and with tail/rodeo.
3. Running shove is not very great. Both the hill movement ability and long distance runner both provide more technical value. LDR(long distance runner) helps in Stam management. Lamb recover Stam faster while it is on its hind legs than when it is on all 4's. The goal is to constantly play defensive with rodeo and tail and swap to that stance when you have distance to recover Stam quickly. For example, one rodeo kick and then a few seconds of the 2-legged Stam recover puts you back at full Stam. If you combine sprinting into this cycle, not having LDR means you will slowly lose Stam against opponents that are 1000 speed and up. BUT, with LDR, it is just enough to continue to gain Stam.
4. Pycno CANNOT fight Lamb (at least, not most). The Clip you used revealed you weren't using backkick OR tail. With no reliable tail coverage aside from rodeo kick, you were left extremely vulnerable to a jouster you couldn't handle. Beyond that, you were using survival calls once again which are, respectfully, obsolete to heal calls unless you plan on playing more passive with the damage reduction call ability or whatever it is called.
5. Never run armored tail. It doesnt provide as much damage reduction as you think. Its only 25-30% now i believe.
Overall, I think you are still missing very key components to Lambeo's new playstyle. I am fully willing to do 1v1's or talk more if you or anyone else would like. Lamb only struggles with Sucho and the apexes for 1v1's. Everything below that including Dasps, Allos, and Stego are all dinos you can fight and win with considerable health difference. I hope this came off as constructive!

On the armored tail - the damage reduction is still 95% for lamb and sarco after testing today. They did nerf cera and pycno's.
@XyphtheSarcoGuy Ohh, okay. I assumed the tail nerfs would be applied to all. Well, still don't know if its worth giving up tail attack for. Though, it definitely looks a lot better to me now

I just realized that Guiding Beacon can be pretty useful to drain the enemy's stam while being less vulnerable within the group... Now that I think about this, I might give Survival Calls another shot 😂

So for the tail on Lambeo, is it better for it to have Iron Tail with its kick and rodeo instead or its more situational?
Not worth to run tail attack to me, 1/2 dmg and 4x longer cooldown means it is 8x worse than it was, too big a nerf. Iron tail 100%

7:14 If you didn't check out healing call yet, let me tell you something. Healing call and primal mend DON’T share cooldown so if you're in a group and pop out both, your healing rate skyrockets.... literally, it's like pulling a legal /heal lol

8:45 Armored Tail now reduces only 25% damage, not 95%. They nerfed it in the same patch that the lamb TLC came out in.
Didn't they only nerf it for dinos with reflect dmg?
So it seems people are liking rodeo kick a little more than back kick. Tail attack is garbage, Iron Tail for the win. Seems advantages/disadvantages to running every call set. I'm leaning combat calls + rodeo for 1vX though. Shove into front kick is really cool, thanks for the combo.
I'm not sure on how the upright works though. I have to reinput upright every time after sprint from trot?

Allo is not trash. It is a jack of all trades master of none.
The best way to play Allo is to tail ride properly and use your tail properly. It's a good dino actually, people just never know how to play it ever.
A dasp with the right build can wreck a lambeo, if the dasp can dish out enough damage before the lamb uses its healing calls and is running with strong legs there’s not much the lambeo can do (at least in my experience as a dasp taking out lambeos)
Tail attack is extremely useful for canceling charge attacks like pycno Berta sty and even sarcos charge bite u can cancel with knockback. And if u get baited, use rodeo in a break check
(Lambio has no chance against apex’s. U can have the best lamb player ever, and they can’t kill a Rex)
Untrue, killed a bataar rex paired who was grouped with an adol cera earlier today. I'm not even that good of a lamb player, but apparently, neither was the rex.

@Picklepie049 lamb can punch up w rodeo kick right now. You might even saw it's overpowered, but between that and heal call, Lamb can and has been able to fight non-bleeder types across all ranges. That said, allosaurs and concs and kents/stegos are bad news for it right now.

If your a Lambeo, Allosaurus is your worst enemy.
A lambeo can kill an allo in 3 hits. Its ridiculously overtuned for a mid sized herbi. The damage/healing/survivability it has is ridiculous, you can't have a dino stacked with that entire kit. On the servers I play there's just been herds of aggro lambeo's/trikes killing everyone.
I am constantly being called out as a cheater, because I have been trolling around with Guiding Beacon, since it's introduction xD
To be fair, complex and sophisticated or not, (beginner)players can always just avoid PvP with a full survival-focused build, and still have fun by observing others, and by causally giving a helping/healing "hand", or rather leg to fellow vegan enjoyers.

Allo still sucks gameplay wise, but at least its lack of abilites is compensated for with dummie amounts of bleed and movement. Lamb is crazy fun tho, I hope every dino gets the lamb dauce treatment

I think i start to hate this game.. Now its just a random rpg game with dinos skins.
The game always intended to be an MMO with dinosaurs, not a straight survival game and it never hid that fact. I mean, it's fine to hate or not like this genre for a dinosaur game, but it's also not fair to act as "NOW the game is becoming something I don't like" when it has always been like that
@@vcamv2354 Yea i know its was never a real survival dino game but rpg elements was light before and well balanced imo but now its just full of buff, debuff, solo heal, group heal, immun to something even full support dino (Ramph). Its just weird.. But yeah its just my opinion.
@@Rafale01 I understand, but it was lighter before, cause they couldn't implement evrerything they wanted. Game now is far from what the devs truly want, well, not far, but finally going the way they want. We still have community servers who strive more towards survival, but in the end, the genre of the game will be an MMO and I don't blame people who aren't much into it
It’s an MMO RPG not just a normal survival game, it’s more focused on roleplaying (Usually) depending on community server. It’s was never really a straight up survival game.
