THis adventure went a little off the rails with me discovering a pretty intereting location which I didnt know was the most dangerous place on the map. Hey, since youre still new to the game maybe consider joining the Juniper Deathmatch Arena. Best place to practice dino combat if you want to really sharpen your PvP skills, and a great way to test out different builds too. You start as an adult, everyone spawns in to one zone on the map, and its every dino for themselves. Just don't attack in spawn (will be very obvious), otherwise kill or group up to your heart's content!
Let him learn on his own will make it more fun
I think its better if you let him discover things on his own while he plays, instead of rushing it

@@xvii7718 Agreed, the game really changed for me when I had a better understanding as to what the other dinos do and what strategies/matchups work best. The lack of stress from having to die and just focus on the combat ? Yes please 💪
I love juniper but your not getting any good 1 v 1 without a Rex a eo a spino coming to help the guy your attacking when your a small raptor or a mod tier
On community server u Can equip abilities when sleeping , but u need go homecave to do do in official servers
You don't need to go to home caves on community to equip abilites

Discovering the impact crater as a newbie is a canon event lol
I started playing a little over a month ago, I still remember the first time I got to the crater, surprisingly there was no one so I thought "oh, this is a good place to grow" and when I started doing a quest, an allosaurus came out of nothing and it killed me, it was a huge scare
Now... imagine going around solo, and then getting jumped by a group of 3-5 or more dinos, which of course has a fast Dasp to bonebreak you so you can't even attempt to run/fly to safety, and then the rest of the group destroys you in 7 seconds.. That has been my experience on official servers lately.

Aaaye! Welcome to PoT! I’m glad to see you discovered the community servers. I’ve played on a few myself, and found that I really enjoy the realism servers the most. I personally play on Arazoa, but there’s many to choose from. I highly recommend giving it a shot if you’re kinda over getting killed by mix packs or rule breakers. Good luck to you!
IC, is like a big hunting area. That spot, Green plains and Green Valley always have the most people

Switch you claw attack to claw barrage 🙂 the lamb would be dead after 4 hits
Honestly, normal claw is way more reliable, claw barrage does more damage, but needs to stack wich if you arent able to spam it, it does around 20 damage

Hey dude, I see u are playing on Velocci's Realm. That server allows mixpacking, so any creature of any size can pair up, so long as they have the same diet. If you are looking for no mixpacking, look for a Semi-realism or Realism server, those do not allow mixpacking of any kind. Cheers

Hiya, I'm the rainbow amarg you fought in IC. On Velocci's realm it's got buffed speed, and has lots of stamina as well. Due to this I could have ran away at any point I wanted from you, but I took the fight just to see how well I'd do. If we're online at the same time again I'd be down for a rematch, and I won't run away this time.
Lol why is it buffed on Velocci's realm? That's retarded. Amarg is already an absolute powerhouse + is near impossible to kill because you take absurd bleed damage.

The small bird thing that kept latching onto you (that you kept standing to shake off) is a rhampy, which can buff you. They do 0 damage and if it's not repeatedly biting you, let it cling. They have an ability that gives a 10% attack buff called Plotting Whispers (looks like an angry face icon) that works on both herbivores and carnivores, so that one may have been hoping you would let it hitch a ride in exchange for buffs.
However they also debuff things by biting them, or if they have the disease-spreading hide. I play almost exclusively rhampy and have helped groups take down hatz (the giant flier), rexes, and a bunch of other things from a mix of buffing group mates and debuffing enemies.
Impact crater and grand plains is a death zone, i only go there if im a hatz or im in a pack of dinos

Protip not everyone hs the same stamina consumption lol and speed. Thats why the lamb still had som left. And also like being careful with how you use the stam

If that spino at the end didn't attack you while you were resting you might have won. Cuz you take more damage while resting or sleeping
On sucho use claw barrage, and on spino use trackttion (had an aneurysm spelling that)

You should play on a server called Islander, it’s got some rules and stuff but it’s super fun, and it’s much easier to play there, although when you die you lose lots of growth and all that, at least 7 spinos, 3 Rex’s, 4 concavenators, a meg, and a Hatz aren’t trying to kill you

Word of advice when using precise movement. Don't move around and stay still. You turn faster staying still than when moving

@@TylerKolaveloccis realm has altered stats so it won’t be as good for you bc you won’t understand what you can fight also if u haven’t been referred try it gives u extra growth on officials and a free SUCHO skin. (I can refer you 🤑🤑 if you need)

Do not use claw attack on sucho use the claw borage it does mutch better damage and it does not take stam
Play the lambeosaurus
Stop with all that sprinting i see you are out of stamina most of the time, combine sprint with troth to get around quick and have enough stam if the shit is about to go down. Work on stamina management.
I recommend playing on a server because they are just better. Try finding a server that has faster growth, more Dino’s or whatever your preferences are in rules and adjustments.

All I can say is that veloccis realm is not the place to learn, I play on there and everyone is super toxic and all play the same they use every exploit they can get, it has the most rule breaks I've ever seen.. I won't recommend any server so I don't seem bias

Word of advice, if you get attacked while sitting down you take 2X damage, and 4x if you get attacked while sleeping. For pvp I'd highly recommend watching nvgunns videos, he does pvp tutorials as well as build recommendations, for a new player your actually doing pretty well dude

I like to put claw attack as my first attack on my suco and spino then tail attack and then bite so then u can get that bleed in first
Ans some times u have crouch to get the tiny 1s
C Law barrage is better , dont forget to use tail for 2 hit combos
Man lots of rule breaking on this server. Try playing on Auranea #1. The ways these guys were playing was like you were on official servers

Why do so many people use my Dart Sucho skin. It’s so bad I hate having made it so much. Good videos though 👍 seems like you’re getting the hang of this game, it’s really a cake walk to learn compared to Isle.

Anyways yes, I did make the skin and submitted it to the IoA mod team, it’s still in their skin submissions tab. Last night I submitted a remake actually, hopefully they implement the remake. I also plan to make more skin submissions soon!

This guy is not new, he was baiting the lamb's tail attacks which is not something someone who has never seen crater before would do
New people can easily learn how to improve at combat especially when they have a history with other dinosaur survival games.
Three things that i don't like in path:
1: The game don't looks like a dinosaur game, because it has quests, skins....
2: A lot of peoples be toxic and break the rules and they don't get banned, no matter wich server i am
3:The animations are weird and the turn are terrible (just like in the old the isle)
AND after all of that, you can make it a little fun
You do know that actual dinosaurs had different skin variants right?….i do understand the toxic thing with crater tho
1. Its a dinosaur game cause it has dinosaurs in it. Quests were confirmed from the start. Skins are needed for customisation so nothing looks boring and bland.
2. Toxicity is what you get with open world multiplayer games. Especially animal games.
3. I agree that animations are a little off, but they are way better than isle legacy so comparing the two here is pointless af.
And it is way more fun than isle atm

@@Koryydyou clearly know nothing of the isle, it’s been in development for over 12 years now… and PoT (which has only been in development for 3-4ish years) still has more dinosaurs to play and more things to do outside of growth and has confirmed they are adding nesting among other things… the isle has made PLENTY of promises to add things that never happened and they backed out of. Examples being humans and cannibals…
And outside of all of that, the isle has had a terrible reputation of hiring bad people.. I get it you are a fan but the isle isn’t the first to come up with the idea of “game where you play as dinosaurs/animals” so no, you just sound uneducated when you say it’s “copying” the starting team who made it also worked on the isle.. they got tired of the stupidity on the isle dev team and went all out with their freedom..
This is just a small bit of why PoT and the isle aren’t even on the same levels.. unfortunately not a lot of people know everything there is lol

You can play solo just fine, especially now with the solo survivor trait.
You just gotta play smart, and keep aware of your surroundings just like every other existing dinosaur or animal survival game.
@@PestilentAllosaurus this game has the worst mixpacking of this genre. if u play how u suggest there would be 0 interactions besides the off chance u get a fair fight. solo survivor traits changed nothing but allowing u to get a few extra hits in, take a few extra hits, or deal damage.
solo is possible i do it all the time but to say it is fine is funny af
