2/27/14 Levittown Fire Company #1; Engine 32-1, Falls Township Fire Company; Engine 30, Tullytown Fire Company; Ladder 33, Fairless Hills Fire Department; Engine 31-2 and Deputy 31 responding, Levittown Fire Company #2; Rescue 13 and Morrisville Fire Company; Deputy 98 and Rescue 98 responding on box 33-22 for a working apartment fire at the Creek Village Apartments on Fallsington-Tullytown Rd. Engine 32-1 arrived on scene reporting a room and contents fire.

I don't think they were coming in "too hot". Urgency and safety is a delicate balance for fire apparatus drivers, and I think these guys were right on the money. They were about as fast as they could be and still be safe.
Every time a response video shows a rig using more caution, people are all "what, does he think he has all day? People are burning and dying while he stops at empty intersections!"....some folks just can't be satisfied, ever...

The apartments are in Tullytown Borough but the post office calls it Levittown.
This whole area is confusing and has multiple town names for the same place.
@Eric Morgovsky no I don't have any videos of Dow or GTS. Dow very rarely leaves the plant for incidents. I don't think GTS ever leaves the the industrial park. Only time I seen them was at a parade a few years ago.
Squrt 99 is only dispatched for alarm systems and reported fires at the DOW facilities. It is rare that 99's ever leave the plant for an emergency unless it is directly outside the premises or they're special called for HazMat incidents.

needs more Q lol nice vid and just for the record on apartment fires in my city its 4 pumps 2 ladders 1 rescue 1 chief 1 safety officer 1 medic unless it is the park jefferson apartments then its 6 pumps 4 ladders 1 rescue (its all we have) 3 chiefs 2 medics and my unit rehab 511 since park jefferson is an automatic 2nd alarm due to how bad they burn

Yes. Only the volunteer chief officers are allowed to have red lights and sirens on their personal vehicles.

Me too. All of 30's Seagraves are badass.
Engine 30 and that red pickup really gunned it when they got past that traffic lol. I saw a fire in the town next to mine that was a 2nd alarm in a building that was part of a factory complex (the building the fire was in was small), but the complex was on a side road that complicated things. Half a dozen towns responded along with the entire fire department in the affected town. Private message me and I can fill u in with more details about what responded and what covered the station for the town

Man...all of the engines and that first rescue truck where going pretty fast.. a bit more than usual.
I love the responses but we can all agree they were coming in way too hot for that much traffic and highway exits and even school buses plus snow

Why do some of the cars have blue lights and the engines have got red ones?
Is this a USA thing or is there a reason? Why also do some of them have different paint colors?
The cars with blue lights are fire police in their personal vehicles. In Pennsylvania, firefighters, fire police and ems personel are only allowed to have blue lights on their peronal vehicles unless they are an officer. Fire officers (captains, lt's, chiefs) are allowed to have red lights.
