@@Tony-723Who says anyone is making him where those shoes? What's wrong with wearing more comfortable shoes that make you feel more stable. I stopped wearing heels years ago because they were uncomfortable, I didn't want to risk falling, and I really didn't care what anyone thought.
I had to wear orthopedic shoes for about a year as a 32 year old. Guess I'm no longer qualified to be president 😢

I'm in my early 30s and my orthopedic shoe inserts help my feet not hurty after a 12 hour work shift. Knowing the president's got orthopedics just shows me he's actually working.
Yet Fox ignores Trump's inability to walk up slight inclines. And all those times where he talks and goes on incoherent ramblings. Yes lets make age the narrative but also ignore it at the same time.
First mistake is thinking Fox News is "news".
Anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together is hip to Fox's game at this point, hopefully. Anyone still fooling themselves after Fox admitted they purposely lied about Dominion and forced to pay $787.5M is just holding us back.

It's just a fact that as you age balance, particularly on stairs, can become an issue. I'm nowhere near Biden's age but I'm more cautious on stairs now than I was in my 20s. It's just a fact of life that we all will face, if we live long enough.

I don't understand why political figures have to disembark from flights using an external, portable stairwell.
The rest of us are using a safe walkway, from the airliner to the terminal.
Just like any other private jet passengers the private airliner don't use the public terminal system it's way to slow process.
The president does not go through the public terminal system that would take way to long to walk through/ golf cart through plus to much public nuisance it would bog down so many public flights making public terminals delayed.

I have had knee and ankle problems since my late 20’s, and now that I’m 40 years older, i sure could use a stair sherpa. Going down stairs, or even walking on a slight decline, is a nightmare for me.
They did this on The West Wing. When President Bartlet's long-time personal aide Charlie graduated college and moved to a different role, his successor, Curtis Carruthers, was a large young man, bigger and brawnier than many of the secret service agents. As the president's multiple sclerosis had more frequent flareups, there was one occasion on which he found he couldn't even start to climb the stairs to board Air Force One. Curtis literally picked him up and carried him up the stairs and onto the plane.

Geez, i've been tripping & falling since I was a kid.
Faceplanting when tripping on an unmarked curb - check.
Foot caught on a tree root while hiking - check.
Diving out of the way of an oncoming car at dusk 'cause there are no sidewalks in my parent's neighborhood & they were coming dangerously close to me, causing me to jump out of the way, landed on uneven ground & rolled down into the ditch - check.
If you live an active life, it happens. You get up & move on. It's better than sitting motionless all day.
Do these stairs remove the toilet paper from your shoes and make your wife hold your hand? At least they will prevent him from triggering a massive earthquake if his massive broken body went down.

My problem with stairs is the treads are too narrow so I wind up skiing going down.
Yes, big feet problems. I have basement stairs that the stringer was installed upside down. The rise is high and run is short. They are scary up or down with big feet. My guess is the airplane stairs are similar. If he needs a ramp, why don't they get him one.

Yes, I tripped on stairs many times. Beginning as a toddler, teen, 20's, etc. My brother was wearing orthos by the time he was 8 years old. Wassup about a president having to wear orthopedic shoes??? Why the criticism? Tripping on stairs or falling down stairs is a normal every day life occurrence. Yep, President Roosevelt did indeed wear leg braces and used a wheelchair. I wear orthopedic shoes and sometimes have to use a cane due to foot/ankle/knee injury acquired in my 30s. Some of those news casters need to wake to the aroma of fresh made hot coffee and stop reading teleprompters just to make sweet money. Oh, they might stop using an elevator before they criticize anyone tripping or falling on stairs.
If only this service had existed when Gerald Ford was president.
Could have used this service a couple weeks ago when I was walking on some more-than-big-enough flat rocks to cross a stream, fell and fractured my knee cap. Surgery last week but crutches for several more weeks before I can start PT.

Having been born with a spinal defect, I was not able to take my very first step without an orthopedic shoe. Pretty bad karma to be slinging arrows like that.
