    I have purchased this and used it. The difference is night and day. They tested this windshield at 93 miles an hour with a 5 foot 9 rider. The effects where as follows
    Stock windscreen deflection numbers with the above info
    Head 8%
    Upper body 12%
    Lower body 26%
    With the new Puig windshield
    Head 16%
    Upper body 64%
    Lower body 92%

      Wow, thanks for taking the time to comment this. It definitely rings true for me and my use of the windscreen too. Felt like just about ALL of my lower and upper body were protected from the wind. Very useful information!

    Just simple like that? Very useful and simple explanation. I'm thinking about getting mine, but haven't decided which one!
    I didn't dislike this one, after seeing mounted. Thanks!

    Thanks mate, Im just about to fit a touring screen to my z900. Your video made it easy as my screen didn't come with instructions. How did you find riding with it?

    • @Motopup
      @Motopup  Před rokem

      I have to say I’ve since taken the windscreen off. This screen did a great job taking the wind off my body and even shoulders but I found it directed a ton of turbulent air right to my helmet. That made the ride noisy and uncomfortable. I have found it’s quieter in the clean air without it. Did you fit the touring screen to the 900? If so what do you think so far?

      @@Motopup hi mate, yes I fitted a touring screen. It made the ride easier and more comfortable, but some of the blast is more focused on my shoulders. It is noisy, so I see what you mean. It also looks awful. I might take it off in the warmer weather and see how it goes.

    What would you say about the light smoke finish? Is there enough tint? Doubting between the light and dark smoke version.. don't like the (too) transparant look but want to be able to see through it tho

    • @Motopup
      @Motopup  Před 2 lety

      Hey! I had the exact same dilemma choosing between the two! Unfortunately, I have never seen the dark smoke in person. However, I have read reviews that it is VERY tinted and not as transparent which lead me to get the light smoke. I will say that the light smoke is pretty transparent, you could definitely see through it fairly well. I will be doing a review in a week or so about this wind screen so I will show how well you can see through it in the video.

    can you tell me if you are satisfied with the windshield. keep out a lot of wind on the highway when you're driving 120km/h or 75mph. I just want to buy the same.
    Greetings

      I’ve been using the windscreen for several months now and this coming week we are filming a full review of the windscreen so keep a lookout for that! To answer your specific question, at highway speed I find it buzzes my helmet quite a bit. Definitely keeps the wind off my chest and body though. (I’m 5”10’). Hope this helps!

    Greets from Russia and thanx for the vid! We have just got for my girlfriend a Z650 same colored to yours. And considering getting the same windscreen. Have to notice, the review you have promised can't still be found on the channel. ;)

      So sorry about the delay on the review. It’s been a long winter with bad weather here. We are back up and running with better technology for the channel now and lots of content (including the windscreen video) coming your way VERY soon! :)

      @@Motopup but are you happy with it?? "asking for a friend" with the same bike

    • @Motopup
      @Motopup  Před 2 lety

      @@TorilM I have to admit I’ve since took it off my bike and I ride without a windscreen. In the winter I’ll probably put it back on because it deflected wind almost completely off my chest and shoulders. But I personally found that it created a lot of turbulent air that went right in the middle of my helmet. It made my rides VERY loud. For some this might be okay, I personally did not like it at all. Sometimes it’s better to just be out in clean air than to have wind directed to your head. My ride is much quieter and less neck straining without it (I’m 5’10” for reference). I do believe it did what it was supposed to do though, which is get wind off of my body. Thanks!
