Thanks for this. I did a test video at Disneyland Paris the day after I'd bought the new Hero7 Black and the footage was stunning. Wish I'd seen this first though to tweak the settings. Will have to go back and do the rides again!

Omg! Thank you soooo much for this! My hubby bought me the Hero 7 over a year ago, so I could start recording and tracking my big mountaineering summits, but I was hating this little camera because I didn't know how to use it. Every other instruction video was terrible and working three jobs doesn't leave me much time to research. This was a lifesaver. Can't wait to get out there with my new settings!

Great point about voice control at 13:00. One reason I bought this was to protect myself and/or document incidents. I am using the remote and have turned the voice control off now. Thanks for that tip.

07:33 Ok! By far the best clarity I've noticed in any Gopro Sample footage online! I've been in quite a dilemma whether I should get it or not, coz the videos tests on youtube look so crappy as against the videos put out by GoPro...This video gives me lot of hope. Thanks a lot!

Thank you. Great introduction. New to all this. Amused by the fact that it took someone tech savvy a while to figure out where the playback was - it was driving me insane!
Now if I can figure out why the camera drains battery overnight (been reading/watching stuff, still no solution) I may not end up throwing it against the wall.
(Also - I will be in a very windy environment - is that where I turn on that wind option?)
