      Reha Alev thanks so much, my gopro keep looking terrible when I edit using flat. If I use gopro colour, can I still edit the colour or use luts or better leave it just it is

    • @RehaAlev
      @RehaAlev  Před 5 lety

      Casey Popmusic depends on the LUT. Since most will use LUTs with flat color profiles, they increase contrast and saturation heavily. You will most likely end up with too much contrast (crushed blacks, blow out highlights) and too much color. You may have to pull back in post.

      I have now spent in 3 days (new camera 7/black ) 11 hours.EVERY possible combo of protune.All my (both out and indoor) is total dogshit.
      I assume camera is not broken or card.
      its always WAY grainey or over exposed and or jittery.
      I just dont get how these youtubers get this quality. UNLESS they spend dozens of hours in post edit/changes
      I just want to turn on,hit record and be done.Cell phones take better less hassle video..it just works
      Am I missing something?

Thanks a lot for the help in explaining the settings and when to use them. I can’t give this enough thumbs up to do it justice. Simply the best there is. Period.

    Shooting in 4:3 aspect ratio even if you plan to use 16:9 later could be very useful if you plan to edit your videos. The sensor of the GoPro always captures in 4:3, in 16:9 mode it basically crops the video for you losing some information. Going from 4:3 to 16:9 post production does not degrade quality at all and you can choose how much of the bottom or top of the image you want, thus having the ability to correct the clip in case it's needed. If you don't plan to edit or don't want to spend time on changing the aspect ratio 16:9 is a good choice.

    • @4th_Lensman_of_the_apocalypse
      @4th_Lensman_of_the_apocalypse Před 2 lety

      Surely a crop in cam or post is exactly the same quality wise. Either way you’re chopping some of the file off data wise.…🤔
