Hooooooooly damn is there a difference in Video Quaility between the OG Runcam Thumb and the newest 4K Version.. I like it a lot :)
The Baby Ape is realy nice to fly and veeeeery smooth, but it feels kinda weak. I need some 3S LiPos for it. Also the FPV camera on the frame can not be tilted so you are forced to fly with 0° camera angle. Slap some Prop Guards on it tho and you got a decent CineWhoop lol
The TinyHawk flys like complete shit but it is soooo much fun to fly this thing still. It is so broken already which makes me fly kind of carelessly :D Replacement Parts for the TH2 are always so terribly expensive since it is so proprietary :(
Getting a Mobula 7 ELRS TinyWhoop next which is already on it's way :3

I'm about to order some drone parts and searched for a comparison between the Thumb and Thumb Pro. I was honestly amazed. It's night and day difference! Thanks for helping me decide which one to buy - Thumb Pro is the clear winner 😄😄

Important Note: DO NOT cheap out on Goggles and Receiver. You will just have to buy something else in the Future anyway. Get decent stuff right away. By spending more now, you will save money later!
If I would have to choose between those two I would take the Baby Ape v2 having owned both.
Learn how to fly it on 2S Packs and get some 3S ones if you want a "step up" experience without having to buy another quad haha
Eventually something WILL break and the Baby Ape is definitly easier to fix and learning on it will be easier.
I'd recommend getting at least replacememt arms and one or two motors with it and some spare props of course.
Or if you want something with a bit more Power right away that is still under 250g you may look into the new "Baby Ape Freestyle 2" from DarwinFPV that I just noticed today :D
It has bigger 1504 Motors and is 3.5" Inches on small 850mAh 4S LiPos

Totally. For the Price it is a no brainer in my opinion.
It is not perfect, but for what it is (very small, only 15g weight) it is damn near perfect.
I would very much recommend the Thumbcam Pro 2!
