Thank you very much. I thought only 4s to 6s is possible using JST-XH cable. Great relief now. Thanks for shedding some knowledge. Helpful video 😊

I almost made a video like this last winter. I do this for my naked GoPro.

Great video. Thinking about using one of these setups on my rc trucks for a FPV while bashing. Hopefully it’s not nauseating as by scale it will drive 250mph off road. Lol

Thanks. Good luck with your rc project. I've put thumbs and gopros on rc trucks before and the only issue for me was it's a bit bumpy. I guess you can stabilize footage but I like the bumps and jostled look of it like it shows the speed. Have fun out there 🤟😎🤘

I actually have done it posted on my channel. very fun footage! It aint the smoothest due to me having a 1/16 rc truck with no dampening but still awesome seeing what your truck sees when you're out on a run

Very good, be careful if using on a Runcam as the wiring is reversed.

Yes, in the video I tell everyone about the way runcam does that😸 definitely wanna be careful

Hey! What type of connector do you use for the Thumb? The white plug, I mean. Not the battery end, the camera end. I need to buy some!

    • @lillygodzilly

      It's a 2pin jst
In the description I have some links, the 1st one is the part that has that piece plus a 5v regulator.

But aren't you now discharging your 2S Lipo unballanced, because you pulled out the one wire in the middle on your balance plug? Or am I missing something?
    Kind regards

Honestly I'm not entirely sure why but they never seem to go out of balance. Also I always balance charge them anyways

If you’re only using the positive and negative on the balance plug for a 2s 3s or higher you’ll only be pulling the voltage equally just like using reg power leads xt30 or jst etc. now if you were accidentally using one of the balance wires and the negative you would actually be pulling 3.7 volts. Or in other words just one of the cells. Then yes you would be unbalancing the pack. So just make sure you are only using pod/neg off the balance connector. On a 2s it’s usually the red wire and the black wire. Middle wire probably is blue but sometimes red which is the balancing wire. 2s pos/neg are usually the 2 outside wires. (In my experience) great video btw.
