- Join me as I check out some vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Accra, Ghana. I also go to really nice places to eat in Ghana which have lots of vegetarian options. I have decided to do more videos about my favourite place - Ghana following on from the success of my Ghana Vlog 2019. I love making videos in Ghana. I visited and stayed at Legassi Gardens. Beautiful setting, polite service. Really tasty traditional vegan food. Highly recommended.
I'm looking to visit in April. Any suggestions? Still looking for a hotel but I'll look up Legassi Gardens.
For those visiting Kumasi, Ruutz cuisine is a very good vegan spot. It's a family owned shop. There's also a vegan spot in Adum near the post office. They make traditional Ghanaian dishes without meat.

Very nice clip. Been Vegan for 14 years so now I know what to eat when I get there.
All the restaurants featured in the video are in Accra. Outside of the Greater Accra region, I've found it much harder to find vegetraian restaurants -particularly if you prefer local chop bars rather than more upmarket places.

It is not that difficult at all to be vegan out here, it is just that there is less variety in terms of vegetables generally. Also, not many vegetarian restaurants, but they are cropping up now.

Thanks for uploading this. This is great. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but I'd like to have healthier options than the usual fully loaded cusines. Will definitely try some of these places on my next visit.

Nice vlog am vegetarian so now I know where to eat when I travel to Ghana
I'm from the north of the UK not as far north as Scotland I have eaten at Pat's I didn't know it was called that I simply turned up. Gorged myself after visiting Osu to buy health foods from a shop in Osu I can't name the food is lovely at Pat's the pineapple and ginger. Does have a rocket fuel kick to it my favourite is the Jollof rice with those fake meat things, can't get enough of them when I'm in the area. Good Vlog keep them coming, Pat's also has great pastries since I'm a bit of a cake man they sell pumpkins seeds good for us more mature blokes.

Love this!!!! My son is gluten intolerant (which we didn't know when were in Ghana a couple of years back)!!! What are the options for such a diet? Are there places in Accra where gluten free food can be sourced?
