Wow! This is a beautiful and powerful rendition of this song! I have always loved Hammer to Fall but never heard it start out slow like this and then end so powerfully at the end. I need to say! This is one of my favs now!! This is GREAT! Thank you, Sir Bri! ♥️🎵🎶🎸🎵🌹
Así tendrían que ser los recitales de Queen con ellos 2 como vocalistas principales y alguna corista, nada más en las voces. Ojalá algún día sea así antes que dejen de tocar.
It's actually he who came up with the idea to arrange the song this way. He said in an interview he played it for Brian and initially he did not even click it was Hammer to Fall.
I don't like this version at all, NO NOPE not for me. I think I am a hard sell because I dont like change. Sorry everyone but I am being honest. I love my Brian and Roger more than anything but this misses the spot for me.
I don't like this version either. All I was waiting was this song to speed up. They did a nice kinda mix with Queen + Paul Rodgers where the slow part also exists, but not that annoying. I can also notice, that Bri is struggling here playing his Red special, and the guitar looks here pre-repaired by Greg Fryer, so it's out of tune somewhere, looks worn out, and it sounds like the upper frets are flat as fuck. There is a later video of Bri saying the frets were never changed, so I wonder what Greg did to make the frets higher... I suppose he cut some wood off the fretboard... Digging out the frets.
@@user-lx3dn9bt9e I don't remember leaving this harsh common, perhaps I'd had a few beers and it was late at night, so that's my excuse. Yes I think he probably dressed all the other frets and then took the strings down a touch. It's interesting that Brian never uses his little finger when playing (except for chords) so on the one hand it obviously limits him to a point but on the other hand, because he's only using three fingers perhaps when he has to move or slide up his third finger to play the notes the fourth finger should have played then that adds something different to his sound. It's certainly worked for him. These days I love watching these young guys play- Damian Salazar Smoke on the water and Miguel Montalban's version of Hey joe and Comfortably numb. Peace my friend.
Brian May such a talented writer of songs
Jesus….I just stumbled on this…..miss Freddie of course, but this is a brilliant rendition of this song….!! Well done boys…….goosebumps….,
This song sounds great played this way and Brian is smokin' HOT. Roggah is as wonderful as ever, too. Love that boy.
Brian has a much better performance at Brixton 1993
That' s Queen that i love most ,Brian and Roger together, they are so talented.Their performances are always so special.
Bravo Roger an Brian love you still !👑👑🌹🌹💖💖💯💯♾️

Nice this version. Could be a pretty lullaby
There’s a better version live in 1998 and 1993. Ones fast and ones slow

Brian has a nice voice I think
He has a better voice on his performance of hammer to fall in 1993 Brixton Academy
Shame such low views.. :(
Very ,very sad !
From Brazil.
Neil, who is the guitarist in the orange cap?
I think he is called Jamie Moses!
Yeh that's Jamie
Was in the brian may band, and queen & Paul Rodgers lineup

5:12 it gose normal speed. I would recommend watching Brian sing hammer to fall live in 1993 London for a good fast version
Yeah they tried this for a couple of years playing it slow but ended up going back to the fast and heavy version eventually.
As big Queen fan and a serious guitarist/multi instrumentalist of 44 years I'm saying what a load of crap this is.

@@truthseeker7794yeah Brian has said he only ever uses his pinky if he's playing set pieces and even then that's not very often
