Seeing May and Iommi on stage jamming together is the most satisfying thing ever for me...
Nice comment
There is no singer in the known universe that can do better than Freddie but this guy is about as close as you can get.
thx to Gary. He made our John keep his dance with his smile, even ..........
The first time that night! I thought I was the only one who saw Deaky dance! Nice catch! ❤ We still love you Deaky!!
This was one of the top 3 Freddie tribute performances. Gary Cherone shred it!
For sure!! My top 3 of this cocert was:
1: i want it all
2: hammer to fall
3: somebody to love
IbraGonz 94 what about crazy little thing. Plant’s singing isn’t great IK but the triple ready Freddie with the crowd doing it as well just makes that version of the song so special
@@ibragonzalez4494 dude I couldn't agree more
I was just thinking how much energy he put out onstage--He slayed it!
@@tatianaroveda Yeah indeed!!
I love how he got Deaky to rock with him...
He made john smile thx Gary
That was great.
gracias Gary por hacer sonreir a John Deacon. Dejen tranquilo a John. El cumplió, él hizo su pega, y ahora esta tranquilo en casa
Iommi and May,two gods...
EVH is missing from the picture....
The Young brothers as well.... definition of pure rockers 🙏🏻
gary screaming hammer to fall before the song sounds like ozzy screaming “all aboard”
I love how Brian breaks a string in the intro and Tony just casually holds the line. Legends, all of them. To the last
Amazing Tommie playing here it gives an extra metal in queen's songs
If nothing else- Gary Cherone and Extreme sang whatever and wherever Brian and Roger needed them. Noone else was trusted to do Love of my Life- and this was one night I don't think Brian could have gotten thru it. Nuno Bettencourt playing Brian May's licks exactly how Brian plays them- no cover s*** there! They brought an energy only Freddie himself could have done- Thank you guys.
I agree, and watching it "live" at the time was amazing!
Scorpios did it pretty good at one of their concerts
John Deacon looks more happy playing this song. And Roger Taylor looks like a badass wearing sunglasses while playing the drums!😎😎😎😎😎😎
One of my favorite Queen songs!
Queen, Black Sabbath, & the second replacement singer of Van Halen in 1. Nice.
Fantastic... and with Tony Iommi no less!! Power
Honestly, not a big Gary Cherone fan, but his grit and range suits Queen well in my opinion. Even his exaggerated movements kinda remind me of Freddie’s stage presence a bit to me. I don’t think Gary comes close to Freddie in terms of greatness, but as a good singer to pay tribute to Freddie and sing with Queen could be a better tribute than Adam Lambert or a copycat like Marc Martel. No disrespect to them either or their evident talent.
Marc Martel would rather work with Queen and be honest about his talent- and he is great..He was great on the movie. Not a Lambert fan- But Gary rocks hard- and Tommi and Brian? Killer, All we need is Nuno..and thats a hot trio!
The song has been lowered here, but he would better then Adam Lambert and Marc Martel.
Everybody loves Disco Deaky!
I don’t think there could have been a better choice of singer for this song. Iommi’s rhythm playing adds a grittiness that suits Cheronne’s voice. The whole arrangement was well done.
Would have made an excellent closer in my opinion. Closing the show with that song would have been epic.
Iommi is great in this one.... maybe a hint of flanger at the end ?
Hermoso homenaje
Fabulous, just fabulous !!!
I also love how the backup singers are getting in on the act!
Hammer to fall
After watching this, it makes a lot more sense why Van Halen tapped Gary Cherone him to replace Sammy Hagar. He brings the stage flair of David Lee Roth but with the vocal power of Sammy Hagar. But then once he was in Van Halen, he cut his hair and the band decided to drastically change their sound and it didn’t work... I’m all for trying something new; in fact I truly enjoy Van Halen 3. But from this performance, it’s obvious there was the potential to recapture the Van Halen sound and image, and they sorely missed the mark. Such a shame.
Best song on the tribute well done
For me, this is like The Who mixed with Queen.
I was there
You were? Wish I were!
Me too pal, greatest concert ever 👍
Killer johnn 1.14!!
3:14
3:23 Gary pisses off Tony during his solo interrupting him by screaming like a girl!😂
I would have loved to see Roger Daltrey play the whole concert with Queen.
I liked Gary a lot better with the long hair
Do you know what Cherone said after singing the song?
Give it to me one more time
0:53 🤟🏻 john deacon
0:53 playback????????????
Freddie was a one-off - nobody could ever deny that.
This footage shows Gary Cherone would’ve been the perfect person to fill the void left by Freddie. He has the vocal range & stage presence.
The Queen era featuring Paul Rodgers & Adam Lambert just isn’t worthy of the name - it’s a bit embarrassing in my opinion.
Gary would have been an excellent fit for Queen after Freddy
This guy should have joined Queen after 1992 till now...the closest to Freddie as far aa the energy...much better than Lambert ofcourse and more suited than Martel...Martel has better voice but nothin more..
Yeah that would be so fucking Awesome! I dont like the way Adams voice sounds. It’s not rock n roll like Freddie’s and it sounds very feminine in some way.
@@isaklimberikarlsson7868 indeed this guy has his own personality so probably Queen might have some new albums too with him...
Lambert wasnt ever good for that position and Martel is a copycat..
John Deacon non lo caga
Cherone sings it good but his actions are embarrassing . Iommi and May shred it. My favorite song by Queen by far
Chris Sams Gary is a caricature of himself. It's just too funny.
Chris Sams Iommi always knows where to put a solo just like May does. Classic!!
Yeah why is he shaking his ass? He looks like an idiot
BillGeezerIommi he’s just enjoying himself. Leave him
He is enjoing and he dont care what people thinks . . . like Freddie does
Gary should've replaced Freddie
Lol Brian fucked up his own solo.
Why Gary Cherone? They were kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel with that one
Why ?,i mean yeah,he was the singer of a glam metal band, and it's obvious by his stage pressence, but then again, why?
he did well
Considering Extreme wiped the stage floor with everyone else who played at this show I’d say you’re as wrong as it gets.
