Thanks for the video. Looking forward to your next video and your comments on how much better it runs. I have an 08 A5 with the 3.2L V6 with 92k miles. I've done the basic service like liquid moli oil change, new spark plugs, coil packs and air & Mann oil filters. I'm sure I need a carbon cleaning but that's a bit beyond mechanical expertise. So far it runs great. Thanks
When he said he installed new "updated F series coil pack" what is meant by this? Has Audi redesigned their coil pack model for this car at some point and improved it? If so, what is the part number to it and where do I get it from??
You do it by manually turning the crankshaft via the crank pulley. You will need an adapter that slots into place on the crank pulley and only then can you fit a long ratchet on it and turn it :)
What you need is port injectors to keep the intake valves clean. That's something VW won't give you while Toyota and Subaru has both Port and Direct injectors.
It still amazes me why people replace coilpacks just on spec. In the 9 years I owned my B5 A4 2.8L NA V6 I never replaced a coilpack and none were replaced by the previous owner. 17 years and 280,000kms on the original coilpacks. And the same goes for the injectors. There are a lot less expensive injector seal kits available. Something like $6 or $8 each. Injector cleaning and flow testing isn't that expensive either. I can understand the rationale though to replace as who want's to rip the intake manifold off again to replace one injector sometime down the road. I hope you kept your old injectors and coilpacks as spares?
That Ford Prefect carbon cleaning port adapter is a Godsend. It worked like a charm on my 3.2L V6. I used about 6 to 8 lbs max of walnut shells. czcams.com/video/cmKbj_NTfko/video.html

Great work bro. I’m working on getting my Audi S4 B8 done as well.
I’m ready to do mine I’m just waiting for my parts to get here, you did an amazing job man!
Have you done this ?
@@shak-albania8929 Yes we just recently done it on my cousins S4 but I haven’t done it on my S5 yet.
Wow, great job on that, they were really dirty!
Thank you for making this
PLEASE UPLOAD A VIDEO ON THE NEW STEERING WHEEL AND INFO ON IT
Im doing the same cleaning on a RS4, how did you turn the engine over since, the fwd pulley only has many triple squares?

Looks 100 times cleaner!
How did you close all the valves? I’m aiming to do a heavy tune up and clean up on my s5
Hi can you link me to where you got the seal adapter for cleaning? Will soda blasting work?
you got a part number on those injectors?
Where did you purchase your injectors?
How did you close the cylinders before blasting the valves. I can't find any videos showing that step.

What is your background? Are you certified or just an enthusiast?
How often does this need to be done ?

You need to look into BG products
Man do you still own this car? What major problems did it have till today?
Where did you purchase your 80$ injectors???
Probably bought the Hitachi injectors off rockauto. That's what I plan on doing
👍🏾
If you lived in the chicagoland I'd pay you to do my car. Hard to find someone who is up to my standards like you.

Its because your b5 didnt have direct injection . So your injectors wouldnt need as much maintenance.
@@alexion7160 what has injectors got to do with coilpack longevity?

Replacing the enjectors was absolutely unnecessary
