Honestly even the Hobbit trilogy is really good when you watch the extended edition. I was really surprised, because I wasn’t a big fan of the regular version, but the extended one is for me personally better than Lotr. PS Don‘t debate with me please, i know it‘s a hot take, but I just prefer the characters in the hobbit.

And each movie has a very unique setting, making it different and recognizable. The first one was designed to be in the 60s, so adults watching would get nostalgia from when they were kids. The second one had a si-fi setting being in the future, with flying cars and hoverboards, allowing for amazing effects; and was similar to all the science fiction movies releasing at the time, but with the twist being that it was themed as what could happen within the next 40 years. And the third one was a western with a Time Machine, and steampunk technology. All those combined make back the future an amazing series. And it’s also great because it hasn’t been ruined by useless sequels or bad remakes.

The real reason the lotr series is so good is bc the director filmed all three films back to back. The story never lost its pacing bc the crew and cast were never really separated/had other roles to fill. The story is also a big part of it, but thats is what i believe the key of success for that trilogy was also this.
Batman The Dark Knight basically became our traditional movie when we got a new TV, when our old one we got since '09 broke down we got a new one, scrolled through Netflix and found Dark Knight, same one we watched since we got that TV the first time. It will probably repeat in the future.
Tbh the prequel trilogy as a whole is not a great trilogy like idk how old y’all are but when those movies came out everyone hated them and for good reason they are very sloppy compared to the original trilogy with the first two movies especially having extremely bad writing I mean rots isn’t a terrible movie but even that movie isn’t as good as the films mentioned in the video as it still has pretty rough dialogue like the other movies in the trilogy don’t get me wrong there are things to enjoy in the movies but it doesn’t stand on the same level as the originals which has probably the best pacing out of any of the Star Wars movies or any of the other movies mentioned
The prequels def has the best fight scenes however they have quite a lot of cringy moments, phantom menace was ok, nothing special, attack of the clones was meh, revenge of the sith was pretty good tho

Here's what I'll say about those: First, I'm in High School. I was born after those movies came out, so I don't have nostalgia. In my opinion, the first one was pretty good. I feel like we could have seen more of Spiderman, rather than just Peter. The second one is the best Spiderman movie of all time. And the third one is...well...it's garbage I'm sorry. I hate it. Respect to you if you like it, but I'm not a huge fan. I think if the third one was better, the trilogy would be on my list.

Respectable. I think something that made the LotR trilogy so good was just all of the world building and hidden lore within the franchise leaving room for a lot of new story.

When you first started talking about film trilogies, the very first thing that came to mind was Lord of the Rings. I'm happy to see you did not disappoint.
