My 9 year old daughter does this all the time for her baby chicks. It's heartbreaking if they pass, but she atleast knows they had their best chance ❤

Christina, I hope you see this!! That little baby chick has something called spraddle leg. You can actually bind their legs together for just a few days, and it will help their leg to straighten out. They make little bands, or you can just use vet wrap. It's a quick and easy fix if you catch it early.

I’ve been in a really bad depression funk. I put this video on, got out bed early, deep cleaned my kitchen, and just felt like myself again. i didn’t know i was still in there. It’s hard when you’re not surrounded by good people or positive humans- but this? I think this is how families should live. I am 40 yo and I just built a tiny home next to my dad's house. I love being so close. One of us cook dinner each night. It's great.

Omg my dog loved this video. She heard the chicks and came running up the stairs then sat and watched very intently. Even after I turned my laptop off and closed it she kept looking around to see if the chicks would come out of it somewhere. Now, several hours later she is still running upstairs to check the laptop intermittently. 😂 Wish I could post a picture of her watching it on here.

My daughter has scoliosis and it’s taken 9 surgeries and rods to help her. She leads a very normal life, it’s not a sob story. I’m better now but I have definitely felt, “all the other kids just living their best life”.
We had a chick that was bullied by all the others we eventually just moved her into the house. She lived happily on our porch. We tried to get her to mingle with the other chickens and she was not having it!! She was a lap chicken ❤
ALSO!! Abbie had a CZcams channel!!! She’s the greatest!! I really want a Disney princess like Abbie. I love her!

I love this!! We’re restoring 5th gen property (my grandpas childhood home- been abandoned over 60 yrs). Completely demolished & Renovating the farmhouse and starting a homestead to raise and grow our own food. We’re living in a camper right now. The first summer we got utilities in. Last summer we got our first laying hens and this year we just got our first meat chickens. We have a hawk take one of our layers a few months ago. ❤❤❤

You made my day…. Found out my momma has cancer Monday and my heart has been so heavy. Sick of these doctors dragging their feet, leaving us in limbo. My sister and I are both nurses and my sweet momma called me all weekend asking about the PET scan results… I just couldn't tell her it was cancer, we waited til the appointment Monday. It's been a hard week but I loved spending the day with you, Jeremy, papa and J Man - what a great kid y'all raised Christina! Love you sister!❤

The attention to detail and TLC given to that little chick was so kind! I’ve watched my mom with her chickens over the years and it can definitely be hard when there’s a situation you don’t have much control of but you do the best you can. On more than one occasion I don’t know if I would have been able to handle it as well as my mom would, for sure. This little chicken family sure are lucky to be where they are. Some people act like they aren’t actually living beings, just owned property or something 🥴

As a young country girl, I found a dying creature on our property and ran into the house to get my doll blanket, so I could cover the animal and comfort it. To my dad’s dismay, it was a baby woodchuck ! 😅 No matter what happens with your sweet chick, know that she has felt your love. We are all better humans when we care for the Lord’s creatures. ❤

You seem like such a lovely woman. Such a sweet mother and wife. Of course, we all make mistakes, but I see how much effort you have put into your character and how you live so mindfully and intentionally. What a beautiful life.
We bought a shed cut additional windows in it and installed an automatic door with a timer. For the fence, we had to dig a hole to put fence in the ground to prevent predators from digging under fence. On top of the fence, we put netting to prevent hawks from eating them.
So, THIS is how good people in America should live! Christina, I'm on the other side of the world and I'm incredibly proud of everything you do, I appreciate everything you do all day, every day for your extended family, it's really visible that you do everything out of love and that love is the main force that moves you. It's so visible on your boy that all of you have spent a lot, a lot of active time with him because he's more than a good kid. And this little chick 🐥 , aww I hope you'll tell us how the situation will develop. I love that you live the way you always imagined. As a Mainecoon breeder, i just wana jump on here and tell you that you arw completely right. We do all we can do and the rest is up to god. I felt your pain so badly. Ive spent countless nights staying up bottle feeding, stimulating lil butts to poty, forcing meds, plenty of rushed vet visits, ton of $, countless cpr's preformed so on an so on. Its hard not to get attached to these lil guys when we spend our most time with them tryin to help them fight for life. I once drove an hour away and paid to learn to tube feed to try and save a baby, 3 days after thinking "ok, i got this & we're making progress " i got up one morning to see he pushed thru all night just to peacefully pass in my arms 😭 you are doing the best you can do and thats all you can do! Hugs
