    Here is why:
The fights seem to be real. You can SEE, that she really struggles with some fights and that the men are sometimes stronger than her. Its not like in most other action movies, where people get hit very hard and it nearly nether affects them at all.

So glad/appreciative you got the chance to bring her on (and of course Amy is ALWAYS a delight -not only knowledgeable and capable but always just a ray of sunshine and cute as a button 😄), thanks!

You guys HAVE to do Death Proof. PLEASE breakdown the initial stuntman mike hit OR the ending car chase. So many incredibly talented people worked on that movie including many who were veterans of the old stunt world working along side rising talent stunt performers.

Post CG car hits are clearly different because I feel like majority of projects struggle to make the physicals look cohesive as well as have the scene flow great. That “Always Sunny” episode displayed that. The impact doesn’t sell 100% and then the multiple cuts cause it to lose any tension of danger or damage to the viewer. If they manage to perform the physics correctly and make it look like one-shot ‘stitched’ it could work effectively.

Recommendation for an Animators React episode: The anime FLCL created and directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki. Full of style and mood, going over the top on anime tropes and blending techniques in a way somewhat reminiscent of Into the Spiderverse. They seem to have had a ton of fun creating it!

I’ve suggested this car hit before, but now it’s time has come! There’s a great/bad 80s horror film (the best kind, honestly) called Phantom of the Mall: Eric’s Revenge, with a car chase where a guy gets a pretty brutal sideswipe that I would love to see you all break down.
