They should have stuck with Jenny as Mike's romantic interest instead of Rachel. She is better than her in every way. Plus having a regular character outside the firm gives the show a much needed variety.

Have you seen Vanessa in Blue Bloods? She’s more reserved in romance scenes with Will Estes who plays her on screen husband Jamie Reagan. She plays Eddie Janko-Reagan way different than Jenny on Suits.
