Forstman is probably the only guy that visibly makes Harvey nervous & scared. An incredible villain.
It's hard to believe he was caught by Harvey using a hidden mic.
@@Paolo-tm9cr Seriously!! That was just bad writing.
Eric Roberts is always great in villain roles.
@@arsalahmad2200 i think it was more the fact that Forstman never even considered someone doing that, its considered super underhanded in the criminal world and Forstman expected (wrongfully) that Harvey would never do it and would rather beat him some other way.
Its the equivalant of a sucker punch in a lot of ways, will it win you the fight? yes. will it knock your opponent down? sure. but its not considered honourable.
End of the day Forstman never considered it because he'd never do it, but forgot that Harvey, ultimately, is a lawful man and it was within their power to do that.
@@mfenix88 Actually people like Forstman not remembering that they can be recorded is plain weird. More so, that convo went with Harvey accusing Forstman of something and Forstman replying “that may be true but I will never say it”. Such a clever billionaire and he gets away for an ambiguous statement? At least have him say I know thats true but won’t say it lol.
Jessica's character is a very decent example of a boss or a senior at a corporate workplace.
An unrealistic depiction of a boss at a corporate workplace. She has morals. I've worked at many companies who provide financial / Jurisdictional services and they're all.. horrible people.

I love how these guys cross all sorts of lines but when it comes to forgery and perjury they'd rather die than do that
Cuz those are the 2 things that can cause them their license
@@GUURL101 pretty much everything they’ve done in this show could lose them their license. Lawyers can lose their license for being charged with misdemeanors/felonies, lying to clients, not reporting misconduct of other lawyers, etc. It honestly makes no sense that those are the only two hills they’re willing to die on lol
@@WayneMercy
@@WayneMercy I agree that they play things pretty fast and loose with the rules. However, the difference between the misconduct you listed and forgery/perjury/fraud, is that the former will get you disbarred/fined, but the latter can land you in prison.

Jessica putting Donna in her place is so satisfying to watch.
So satisfying bro !!!!!
Donna is a female dog. Jessica is a lion. Bit her head right off
Yeah but Donna wasn't wrong.
As much as I love Donna, I totally agree
Watching Jessica put anyone in their place is my therapy
I love that even after Louis has been humiliated and insulted by Harvey he would still never throw him under the bus like that that's true respect for a brother
He tried throwing Harvey under the bus in season 5 by recording him saying he hired Mike, even tho Louis used Mikes secret to make named partner. He also attempted to get Harvey fired more than once. Louis is a slimy rat
@@WayneMercy was a slimy rat. Developed into a more appealing character in later seasons

The way Jessica didn't snap at Louis until the whole saga was over shows just how much control she's got over her emotions...
I hate Donna telling mike to go home. Umm no, you go home Mike will be needed to work on this problem not you.

Harvey needs to tell her “im here you’re here, do your job”
@@167kinggam Exactly
And you don't understand why. Mike's job was Louis's reward for resolving the situation with Fortsman. When it turned out that it was illegal, if Jessica saw him, there was a risk of firing him.
Jessica is such a strong character. The way she put Donna in her place is so satisfying and real.

@@boysinblue2570 It's a TV show full of unrealistic characters. That's not why you don't like her.
Agreed 💯 percent Donna is THE most irritating character in Suits history!
I was under the impression that every loved Donna. But after looking at these comments, i'm not so sure 😂
She's a great character, and an easy well deserved fan favorite. But everyone can be wrong sometimes, and it pays to see them not treated like a great character at the times where they aren't being one.
She started off as fan favorite but the longer the series went on the more she was acting above her pay grade and naturally no one likes that
She had an entitlement that her ability level didn’t deserve. She was a Secretary and should have just stayed as that
@@23236638This. Because the character was popular, the writers started involving her more and more in situations where it made no sense.
"I'll take my chances Harvey"- This forstman guy is just too awesome
The fact Forstman never even flinched shows just how confident and power hungry he is. He NEVER does anything without ensuring he’s in a position of strength.
The firm would've fallen to pieces without Jessica in the early seasons. Lewis and Harvey would've murdered each other by the time Mike was arrested.
So many people appreciate that Donna was put in her place by Jessica that I wonder how many would have the courage to face a boss to support and help a colleague or friend
.The most beautiful thing in this show is about friendship and loyalty. Indeed, given the reactions, these qualities are becoming rarer in real life.
I dont think its very honest though- its like they just want to show support for a "strong black woman" over the more common trope of women being doormats and pleading for second chances for their men....cos yeah, I thought what Donna did was sweet and showed loyalty, not weakness, and that Jessica was being way too harsh....but then, heavy is the head that wears the crown
@@twiceshy9773 Harsh? In context, Louis jeopardized the existence of the whole firm. Pretty sure most reactions are acceptable in that situation, including firing him. But, you know, it's a show so plot armor worked things out.
No doubt Louis was wrong But does Donna deserve to be judged so harshly for defending her friend? Because Harvey also tried to persuade Jessica not to fire him.
@@twiceshy9773 Perhaps... But it's hard to draw the motivation back to race or gender when they've already cast these actors in these roles, so at the firm the power dynamic is established. Jessica is being incredibly lenient in letting Donna speak to her in this way at all. She responds firmly but not unkindly. In my opinion.
Everyone is a badass, Donna, harvey Mike until Jessica Pearson arrives.
"Usually people aren't here to talk about Louis" LOL
That one line “And if this were Harvey I’d have the confidence that he would”
Jessica is such a badass, and also calm and collected too - handling two aggitated people at the same time
I've worked in 2 law firms...... Jessica's character is quite real.
Can we take a moment to appreciate Eric Robert's villainous portrayals...the man is underrated
Forstman (Eric roberts) will always be one of the scariest guys on suits, not because he's physically intimidating, but he was able to out smart govt. Agencies, top tier lawyers, and financial advisors.
Ugh, this show never gets old!
Katrina is the most loyal person in SUITS!!... bit more than Mike to Harvey
Disagree but she is great
@@liavhanegbi2729 I agree. But I think a little less than Mike and Harvey because she committed a crime (forgery) and Mike went to jail for Harvey.
I agree. Her loyalty isnt as expected as Mike is to Harvey, making her loyalty stand out more.
Katrina Louis are way better than Harvey and Mike. Harvey does stand out but Mike is literally always complaining and being ungrateful.
That's because louis is a dumber boss than Harvey
The anti hero or antagonists in SUITS are some of the TV's best!!.. Tanner, Frostman, (and even sometimes Louis)!!

5:14...that look broke me. Loius was so ashamed, he could barely look at Harvey
The tension feels so real. These actors are amazing.
Donna R E A L L Y needs to learn her place. She's so self-absorbed and self-important.
"If it was Harvey I would have the confidence he could do it" now dats just a messed up thing to say abt Lewis🤒🙈
Not inaccurate, sadly. Jessica is by far the most pragmatic of all the Name partners in Suits, with only Daniel close to her (but he is far too selfish to be trustworthy). Louis from the final season, however, that one is a much better lawyer, as in, no longer have Harvey size chip on his shoulder.
I mean she's not wrong
When harvey messes up he remains calm and fixes it in the most effective way possible. When louis messes up he paniks and does the first reckless thing he can think off. Srly if it wasnt for Katrina he would have spiral to dangerous levels. She was really smart and knew her place unlike mike who goes head on with anyone even if he is still an associate. Though I have to admit she was pretty mean to rachel when they first met.
Louis in the early seasons made decisions based on emotions which hurt him as a lawyer but that got better overtime .
@@4cryingoutloud976 I dont think she was mean to rachel, rachel is a paralegal always doing work above her paygrade. Katrina didn't that and treated rachel like a paralegal, which is what rachel is. thats not mean.

The most irritating is Donna...she is the prime example of going beyond ur paygrade in corp lingo.....

@@claireb9870 Yeah, me too, she was actually quite fun early on. But as the show went on, they made her, I don’t know, like too much of a "superwoman" and tried to put her on the same level as Harvey and Louis and she just wasn’t that. Which just made her annoying.
@@JAlberto37 she literally held the firm together....

There's an old saying "everyone's a G till they meet Jessica Pearson "..guess Donna needed a reminder 🤔🤣🤣🤣
Donna pokes her nose into matters that aren't her business it's irritating

Yall don't seem to understand Donna's character.
So defending Louis isn't her business and her defending Louis somehow irritates you? I guess you should hate Louis and Katrina for doing the same thing to the point Katrina was going to frame Harvey...
It is safe to say you never had any friends or otherwise you would understand her place...
@@BradyKaynee Nah. You have to understand they're in a law firm. Jessica's the managing partner and she's a legal secretary. I do love the fact that Jessica is shown as being the boss because she **IS** the boss.
She's also one of the only characters that is able to sway Donna or throw her off her game, it's kinda refreshing to see such a strong boss character.
Jessica is seriously the mom, with Harvey being the older brother who feels like he has to dig louis out of the mess her made and louis being the little brother who made the mess because he wanted his older brother to like him.

Facts...
For all the great writing and wonderful acting I fear that few see the real message omnipresent in this series.
It's that core transaction and motive matters.
Essentially, know why, truly why, you make the choices that you do. If your base motive is inward you will eventually corrupt all of your transactions.
These folks are highly entertaining, but none of them are admirable.
