Rick Sorkin is the real hero.
😂😂😂
Would have been great if he'd reappeared in a later episode
@@allyourpiesarebelongtousthat would have been hilarious 😂
True I do wonder though what did happen to that guy?
I like to think the choice of Sorkin as a name is a nod to Aaron Sorkin, the writing style of the show is quite sorkian in nature
bro, seeing how much louis phisically changed from s1 till the end is incredible, even his face was completly different
Because he muds
The fact that Harvey and Mike went to the same place at the end, really shows that we deserve a show of them two
And I would die to see a show of just them two. But how are they going to explain Rachel.
Well you will soon. Google it. New season of suits is coming soon
@@johncorreia8816no its not coming a new season or a new spinoff
@@mesq26she got cancer thats a way to write her out without disrespecting her character.
We have a show of them two, it's called Suits
Years later and this is still one of the best pilots ever
I stick it up there with White Collar and Leverage.
Supremely agreed!
"sorry if you want to beat me you're going to have to do it as something else" - Balliest line ever told to an Harvard hotshot and top brain of a firm by a rookie..
This pilot never gets old ! Legendary !😊
Miss this show more and more everyday. Honestly have never felt so….attached to a show. Felt like you grew up with them. Over the course of ten years, so much has happen, and this show just means so much.
You can say that again
He could have hired him as a Paralegal and he could have been a lawyer later by proving his caliber
Paralegals for companies like Pearson Hardman still need a bachelor’s degree. Paralegals like Rachel has a bachelor’s degree. Mike was dropped from college due to his cheat sheet for the dean’s daughter.
True I'm sure if Harvey had Jessica meet Mike she'd have agreed to hire him as a paralegal too and after he proved his skills at the firm with all of Harvey and Jessica's connections you'd think getting him into a law school wouldn't have been a problem.
Yeah, thats pretty much my biggest strife with the show. It added so much unnecessary drama that I think really hindered the show. The best parts are when Mike and Harvey work on a case, not when the nth person finds out their secret so they have to scurry again
Well also in New York you don't have to go to law school at all you just have to pass the bar.
He needed the signing bonus.
The first and last episodes of this show are genuinely some of the best television ever produced
5:30
Let's just admit it already 😂....
THIS SCENE IS LEGENDARY 🔥
It's also when Suits was at it's best. We all knew from day one that they would get caught out because 'murica has the Hays code. Something to the effect that a criminal can't be seen to get away with it indefinitely.
The plot is legendary
Nice!
8:37 it was at this moment, in his mind he already hired Mike
" Mike, I can't hire you as an Associate, but I'm willing to take you in as a paralegal and help you get through law school. "
" SOLD! "
*Roll credits.*
Because life is like this, and I like this. You know if you know.
you guys just going to post the first episode another 10 times?
Free views, can't blame them.
Most likely
You're gonna watch it even if they post it 10x more, so why stop?
Hey if it ain't broke don't fix it 😂
It's reruns... have you not know anything about TV?
Seeing Louis in the first season compare to him all the way to last season is just huge 😮
you mean how much he gained fat compared to this scene? xD
@@utawamaruhence his use of the word “huge”
Skinny as a pencil to him looking like "The Beast" from The Chase
"because i have an appointment " that's pretty clever with deadpan delivery
I can watch this scene a million times over and still not get bored.
this is THE best pilot episode of all time and the best show ever
lol no
It’s really not. They skipped all of the establishing scenes that show a) Mike is a freak genius and b) he aspires to be a lawyer. All we get is that he can get a 180 on the lsat and that he read a novel in elementary school (isn’t that required?)
When Jessica said this to Harvey that you went to Harvard law & he replies I'm an exception then she adds find me another one that's when he knew what he needed to do to get an associate & that's why he hired Mike.
"Sorry, if you wanna beat me you're gonna have to do it at something else." A classic line.
Multiverse: “I found a legal phenom and I want to pay for him to go to school using my unlimited connections.” That could be a non-fraud approach.
Yeah but that wouldn’t last 2 seasons let alone half as entertaining the fraud plot gives the show more suspense
@@AladeenMusic 100%. Love the show. Silly premise.
@@Pianoman999it is silly nonetheless entertaining then again silly and entertaining always go together
Ya'll should just make the pilot episode free on youtube. Just the pilot, you don't need to do anything else.
Seeing the scene again make me pretty sure that the show diverted away from being a mike Ross and specter show… we had to see more about the genius mike
This is probably the best scene ever
Probably one of the best opening episodes of a TV series of all time. Got me hooked
every time I watch this clip, makes me want to watch the entire series again.
The ultimate meet-cute.
Thank you guys for the first episode post , haven't watched Harvey and litt scene
One of my favourite pilot episodes of all time
one of the greatest duos in the history of television
Best part of the series.
The series missed such a huge oppertunity by not having Rick Sorkin in the show. It would have have been hilarious to see him show up as an advesary at some point
I wish i wasnt late that day, now i comment here for a living
And this is how it all started ....
0:11 this is a great moment
these 10 minutes are goated
I feel like if he delivered the " Because I have an appointment " line in a different way he'd get the OK. I thought it was funny in an unintentional way.
Legendary Pilot
funny that louis is the one who got a child and wife first before harvey
never gets old
The first episode is no doubt the best
If you listen to the sounds the keyboard makes, Mike probably was looking something up and just selected the solitaire tab right before turning the screen
If only Harvey just accepted him as a paralegal then get him into Harvard once he got his degree (and no I don’t mean bribe or threaten I mean give him a chance to get in fairly)
Actually their second time 😅 wonder why Mike doesn't remember since he has a photographic memory
Best plot in history
One day I will tell my son while showing him this clip..... " And son, this is how It began" ❤
Rick Hoffman was really slim here.
Harvey could have hired him as a paralegal
True, but the firm needed an associate and already had Rachel anyway.
Realistically all it takes is hiring him as a consultant and paying for law school in exchange he interns at the firm and eventually becomes a legal lawyer
@@DanielCruz-xq6eo I think it was stated that Mike was blacklisted from Harvard and other law schools because he sold the test to the dean's daughter. Which was all really Trevor's fault. If you think about it, Trevor was a really awful friend after everything Mike did for him. That was one thing I wish the show did better. Mike obviously cared about Trevor, so I wish the show gave Trevor a redemption story so they could have made up.
@@janhavi1977 I say being blacklisted from every law school was unfair to Mike cause it prevented him from going the legal route to attain his degree in law. I say when you cross the wrong person in life it can make life extremely hard to the point impossible to reach you goal in life if you have so much potential but, waste it doing jobs you know you are way over qualified for to the point the job just get boring but you have to do it cause you need money to survive.
@@janhavi1977 Like a firm full of Harvard attorneys couldn't find their way around that if they wanted....the whole show's premise is ridiculous.
I always thought that why he didn't hire him as a paralegal, then send him to law school through some source
Jessica was for real just Louis and Harvey's mother😂
Season 1 was when they both had the best hairstyles.
Один из лучших моментов, очень хорошо сыграно, классный сценарий, кайф!
Harvey 😍😍😍😍😍
When the most impressive lawyer in the room is the actual criminal.
Wow seeing Litt in the first episode compared to season 8 is like the sopranos with Tony from season 1 to season 6..people gotta take better care of themselves
The greatest Lawyer Show ever, got me through COVID watching all nine years. LOL Loved it! PS - And Donna is the bomb.
If he's so smart, why would you tell strangers at a Harvard event that you're trying to ditch the cops?
He said that to Donna just to buy time and escape the cops, he had no intention of hanging around
When your “product” spills out onto the floor, you better make it a entertaining story or else the interviewer will be telling everyone at the water cooler about his encounter with a drug dealer! Of course they won’t call the cops because of it happening at a “Harvard” Law Firm recruitment interview.
Book smarts and street smarts are different
@@Once_in_a_Lifetime That when you hire the lawyer in the room with you to prevent him from having those kind of talks happening around the water cooler. I am sure Harvey is professional enough not to make those type of talks around the water cooler.
I mean coming up with the "Because I have an appointment" line after being blindsided with a racist remark was at somewhat clever. I wouldve been impressed.
We should hire you.
How many times y’all gonna upload this? Why not post all of the behind the scenes, interviews and casting process
Someone knows the name of the track at min 2:00??
1:44 literally me with the bros... it's not mean...lol
And so it begins....
Do they ever find out where Rick sorkin
It’s interesting that getting expelled from school is treated like getting out of prison
I started watching suits because I saw a clip of a poker clip and thought it was a poker show I have watched 3 seasons
Louis could play Glen Quaiqmire.
Does anyone know the name of the music that starts at 1:50?
music for moogs (cosmos) - deerpark reflections & david may
my man rick sorkin never showed up lol
7:54 Plot twist: He just alt-tabbed it.
Just like real attorneys..
hi hello harvey
Next video : Pilot Full Episode - Season 1
Basically Mike Ross is ChatGPT
Ok I'll watch suits again , not that i stopped watching in the first place
Best part about this show...DONNA!!!
{Spoiler Alert} They will likely post the video form the finale of this exact same scene.....
All the other applicants (being interviewees from the same class at Harvard Law) would know that Mike was not Rick Sorkin. One of them would have said something.
In a sane universe, Harvey would pull strings at an appropriate University to get Mike re-admitted, and then hire him part time while he finishes Undergrad and Law School.
0:16 wow Louis looks kinda slim here
I am mad that for some reason the Netflix server in my country doesn’t have the first 3 episodes -.-
I am mad because I'm on Season 8 and Netflix removed Season 9, the final season.
Fantasy Island used to be a sitcom after the Love Boat. New idea for an old show?
Weird question couldn't he just have hired Mike as a office aid and help/or pay for any Law school. Then work as outside counsel in cases?
man Lewis gained alot over the seasons 😂
I honestly see this scene for the 20th time and still dont understand what is happening. Can someone explain? With the pool closed scene and the police
His acting at like 1:50 was so convincingly sorry
When the illegal was better than the legal one
Did you Ever Wonder- Harvey could have done the same thing to Mike what Jessica did to harvey.
Send him to Harvard. 😏😎
Why was the pool closed?
sources of pearson hardman told that rick sorkin missed the interview because he was on the line buying tickets for taylor swift concert...
Season 1 Louis was so thin
IRL; wouldn’t Mike become a software engineer or data scientist at a start up if he couldn’t go to law school?
Can anyone help me on this: donna was really calling for a real rick sorkin.
And was it just her instinct to let Mike in just because he was ditching the cops?
Rick Hoffman is not yet too fat in season 1.
I never understood why they didnt hire Mike as a paralegal and have him work his way up from there.
Law school is nice and all but not required to get into the bar in NY.
There are so many different ways they could have played this but they went the felony fraud route.
So many unnecessary things happened because of this singular decision.
Jessica lookin fine af 😍😮💨😮💨
Ok he got kicked out of school, but why didn’t he just go to another school?
Probably because Harvard made sure that Mike couldn't enter any law school for what he did as punishment.
Never understood why he just couldn’t be hired as paralegal. Most of the attorney work with no law degree needed
blkpl goes crazy
Poor jessica wont ever see how mike got hired the way we know
We all love this but you're seriously milking this with the constant reupload 😂
