After we have already introduced the new 2021 Merida Reacto, the aero bike from Merida, here comes the light, elegant and race-proven Merida Scultura. The video was made when Alan Dumić built the Scultura for Mikel Landa. Now the bike may already be in use at the Tour de France, where Mikel Landa wears the race number 61. In Bahrain McLaren design it is for many the most beautiful bike of all World Tour Team Bikes. Watch the video and make up your own mind.
Bilde Dir selbst Deine Meinung.

I do like the Merida team paint jobs. Simple but eye catching.
The feeling riding a bike that is prepared for you everyday and built/fitted to your specs down to the tiny details must be amazing.
I could watch those vids all day long!
Excellent Spintest. No drag. An absolute exeption in this series.
I love the Merida's frame. So simple, light, nice paint job. Love it all
Please wear a mask when cutting carbon fiber, the dust is extremely toxic
Please don’t worry so much.
@@bloibl916 -sincerely asbestos insulation manufacturers.
Is it toxic? Or is it "toxic" like aluminium?
I'm proud of Merida Bikes. Incredible.
I love the attention to perfectionism.
Vamos máquina por ese tour
👍Video. Love my Scultura 🇦🇺
Wow wee!!! I got this team colour replica on my scultura5000! 😍😍
Orange is my favorite color so obviously I love the McLaren addition to the team.
Beautiful build and video!!!
5th year of this current Scully.. Can't wait to see what Merida bring to the table with the next installment
More aero, yet lighter, more stiff yet more compliant
Loving the pro bike builds, keep them coming.
Great video!!
Sensacional
11:15 waw , i don't expected that
Nice bike 🙂👍🏻👍🏻
VERY nice to own this
nice👍
I had never known that Lewandowski also can build bikes.
Those shifter alignment tools are kino, where does one get them?
this is a damn fine asmr
Great you like it! :)
That's just me, please, it's so very nice
No mask while cutting carbon steerer? That's brave.
It is just going to go everywhere in the shop so he would have to always wear a mask...or never.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Wishing i can afford that kind of build
Rođo my rođo!!
can we have a TT bike build in the future?
We need Bianchi Build please!!
it is 2020 and we are still gluing magnets on our frames
What is the magnet for? Power meter?
@@rodcosta2345 cadence~
When you use power meter you don't need cadence sensor.
@@chriswhatsoever2001 you go and tell this to shimano. alright?
and why not! doesn't it work?
Is this frame only for electric shifting?
I wonder if mechanical shifting is impossible to use.
For example, is it possible to use Ultegra r8020 or Dura Ace r9120?
5:29 What tools is? Brand, model please?
Oh my god look at how many name stickers each rider gets.
What did he did to the RD at 17:43? Looked like he was adding the wireless unit so the Di2 can connect via Bluetooth? Didn’t know it could be added there?
Just to update or customize the Di2 software and firmware. Then he will remove it, is a climbing bike so those kind of parts shall be remove in order to keep the lowest weight possible.
One question... Is safe cut the fork tube so short?? The stem is 0.5cm over it and the top bolt probably doesn't lock it at all.... I can understend 1 2 mm but 5mm I think it's too much
Some can forego 5 mm, but I usually go for 3 mm.
I ask you sir, how much a Merida......??
My dream rb :(
Which is the tool that the mechanics are using to regulate the height of the shifters?
If you just want both of them to be level with each other, a simple tailor's measuring tape will do.
Are the bottle cages upside down?
of course not
A power tool on the thru axle!?
Usually I ride rim brake road bike. So I want to watch how to build recent rim brake road bike. For example in pro cycling team, Bianchi of Jumbo-Visma, Pinarello of Team Ineos.
Search for zakarin’s giant. He has rim brakes
wish I can have that bike hahah
Never worried about that carbon fibre dust
Carbon dust isn't quite healthy at all... ;)
What is this little battery thingy that he's gluing on the bike @12:00 ???
A magnet for the cadence sensor (in this case built into the power meter afaik)
what are those things beneath tge calipers
It looks like a cooling fin, to regulate the airflow in the caliphers.
MERIDA tech, for cooling
Where can I get a merida frame? Thanks
at a MERIDA partnered dealer
6.9kg WITH pedals, cages and a computer mount. WOW
It definitely is a dreambuild! :)
18:15 中華民國台灣國旗👍
應該是馮俊凱的個人貼紙
Sir may I know how many kilos that bike? Thanks
James Jacob if you watch the video you will find the answer
what did he stick to the bike before chainrings ?
Powermeter magnet
Magnet, for the powermeter (rpm)
@@aska4796 why does it need a magnet? my rpm meter does not use a magnet.
@@umutbirey101 there are several types of power meters
Hello road bike Channel. what tool is that 14:30?
It's a bike fitting tool ;). Can't really tell you which brand...
Whats the song

previously was a reacto
I hope you giveaway some bike for bike to work from philippines thank you for reading this.
Why didn't use rim brake, it lighter than disc brake. Disc brake isn't guarantee to anti slip at wet road.
the weight is not a problem on pro bikes anymore because it is now easy to build a 6.8kg bike with disc brakes.
and of course disc brakes have better performance at both dry ad wet roads
He is right about disc brakes slipping on wet roads. I own both rim and disc brake bikes, with all honesty i opt the rim brake bike more. Rim brakes are lighter, aero, better tolerances, cheap, and easy to maintain. I agree with him saying that disc brakes causes slipping/skidding on wet roads, because with 25c road tires there isn't enough traction and friction to stop the bike properly with that much stopping power. I mean think about it, when the surface is wet and a bike brake using disc brakes, the bike would just skid and not stop due to a light frame that's too light and too much stopping power. Mtbs are more advanced in the world of disc brakes because they are heavy and have wide ass tires, they also have more friction thus stopping easily on dry or wet surfaces. In physics they teach us that a lighter person (6.8 kg disc brake road bike) would slide further on ice (wet asphalt) compared to a heavier person (heavy mtb, gravel, xc bike) when equal force (braking) is applied. With that I'd say that rim brakes are the way to go for performance road racing.
I almost cry when he scratched the frame to glue the magnet for the power meter
6,97 kg. con pedales...no como otros que pesan las bicis sin pedales...bueno, lleva un trocito de cable fuera que ya no es la línea a seguir aunque hay marcas que su forma de esconder los cables es un poco cutre
what was that 12:01 ?
He is mounting the Cadence Magnet
Bar tape wrong way around?
Nah it's the right way
I’m enjoying the bike so far czcams.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.

Breathing in carbon dust is supposedly REALLY good for your lungs! :D

Pleasi give me that bike I want it
How many steerer tubes do you need to cut before you go: F#$k this, I'm buying a sawblade?
Why would he buy a saw blade?
Loo
Take it slow...
very noise
I wouldn't trust my bike to this mechanic
why?
the only thing i would do again is the steertube can be a little bit longer. lol
The pro cyclists in that team trust him
