The Cervélo S5 is a thoroughly aerodynamic road bike with disc brakes. We took a look behind the scene, at World Tour Team Sunweb we were there when the mechanic assembled the race bike for Marc Hirschi (U23 World Champion 2018). Let yourself be enchanted by this pro bike build.

What a beautifully shot video, was both relaxing and educational to watch, albeit this comes from a viewer who would struggle to fix a puncture ! That is a man who enjoys his job, and no doubt does it very well indeed. Chapeau to those behind the scenes, I hope the riders appreciate their expertise and valuable input. Love the look of the finished product, and really like the frame colours. I always think my 2015 Cervelo S3 looks quite good but this is another level in terms of the aesthetics, whilst admittedly at the same time seeming to generate quite polarised opinion (those bars, stem ....). Will enjoy watching more from this great channel, keep them coming - thank you.

That internal cable routing... that would pass only for electronic gears + hydraulic brakes. Maintaining any cables would result in a lot of gray hair in best case scenario.

I was freaking out before I saw the decimal on the scales. And then again when he weighed it, why would they give up 800g to the weight limit? I thought by now they should be able to make aero bikes that get down to that weight. Especially considering the frame is just above 1000g, that is quite light.

When you remove the adapter and cup together with sealed knob, oil not come out like that. 16:07 Because oil under the hoods is not a small mistake for a team bike.
There'll always still be a bit. In fact, it's intended to overflow a little when you screw the bleed port screw back on to ensure it's free of air. Any remaining hydraulic fluid residue can be wiped clean with 99% isopropyl alcohol.
