In a way dogs are smarter than many people. They live in the moment, they don't hate or have prejudice at first to anything or anyone, they lvoe to have fun and aren't afraid to express them selves and they are loyal to everyone no matter what species even if it is a carnivore snake, Tiger or Lion. Yet others hate people they don't even look up about and judge instantly even though it's the same race and species.
Same with cats, they are passive, don't get in the way, love to explore but still are loyal and trustworthy, show kindness, show their love and care for your well being, loves to hang out and play, are excited about discovering new things and loves to try new things they find.
And both cats and dogs are passive but engaged and playful to others even when they are strangers and show a much more energetic and different way of playing and affection rather than distancing from them or becoming passive aggressive or violent. And they don't compare them selves to others or look down on others.
So much you can learn. Even when you have lived much longer than them they still live a better and more admirable life and lifestyle than you.
Big things come in small packages, and it's true. Especially the fluffy cuddly ones
