Just got my wife a 2017 CLA 180 SHOOTING BRAKE with the AMG Package.WE were going for a 2016 c class but she fell in love with the shooting brake.I never thought i would find an estate beautiful.Believe me this is.
Just came across your channel similar to what I do great review 👍🏻
How comes it has three rear seat belts for only two seats?
In the A class, the 122 ps engine is great. It's really happy to rev and it has a nice power range. It is actually more powerful than the papers suggest, since in some independant tests the dyno showed around 140 hp, which is more realistic, since this car can achieve 0-100km/h in 8.5 seconds.
I got mine remapped to 175 bhp pulls well in all gears all modes.
Bearing in mind the lowish power for the size of car - does the CLA180 get anywhere near the manufacturers mpg?
Michael Irving hi Micheal, to be honest I don’t know what the manufactures MPG is on this car, but I can say that for a car of that size the engine was very efficient and I was impressed with its efficiency. Obviously this was quite a long time ago now so I can’t remember the figures! Thanks for your kind comment glad the review helped you 😊
Holiday in Molde? Madman!
Hi, I was just interested to know how you found driving in Norway, during winter. Did the car struggle at all in snow and did the door windows ice up to prevent the doors opening? I am looking to buy a 2018 180 AMG.
Hi, when we went it wasn't the winter so we just had a bit of rain and the rest of the time was pretty warm. With it being rear wheel drive and from my experience of mercedes I can tell you it's not the best car for winter weather. I would say go for a 4 wheel drive model of you are worried about snow etc. Mercedes can be tail happy even on slightly damp roads so just keep that in mind
Rearwheele drive??? No..... The mercedes cla 180 har frontwheel drive. No problem on ice og snow. The only ting to be aware of is ground
clearence like most of the new cars...
Does this car have the Garmin Map Pilot Sat Nav, if so what was it like to use
Michael Irving Hi Michael no it does not but the model I had didn’t have a sat hav. Generally the Mercedes sat mac is very good
OK thanks - I found a 2015 CLA 180 model with Sat Nav and only 30,000 miles.
@@markshonestreviewsandhealt6953 - really useful review by the way, despite the challenge of the rain!
Quick question how was the engine didn't feel sturdy and reliable ?
Emperors Ordeal the engine was very good Mercedes engines are always very good especially the diesel engines was a quite engine as far as I can remember
Looking at buying the 2018 release of this car. Would you still recommend buying today?
Hi I haven't driven the car since I did this review so I can't tell you about that specific vehicle. Based on the car I drove in the review I liked it and thought it was a nice car, but that was a long time ago now so I can't give an honest opinion on your vehicle
Really useful review format compared to all the facts-based ones.
Thank you for the kind comment Eric
Cla has frontwheele drive, not rear wheele drive??
That's interesting why did they make the cla front wheel drive? Thanks for the info 😊
@@markshonestreviewsandhealt6953 i dont Know, a class, b class they are all frontwheele drive. C, e and s klass is rearwheel drive when bought without 4 matic🙂
It is officially 3 seats at the back with 3 seatbelts.
