I was about to purchase a 2019 7" unit, to replace my 2015 5" unit, (mainly for CarPlay) and this video shows it straight forward and no wiring modification is required:

@@jamesarmstrong2987 European versions have different radios but you could try it out. We tried one but could not get audio to work. Please let us know if it worked for you.
