- It was time to start shedding some weight...so...this is what I'm using for the 2022 season.

"im getting to be an older guy" Ha, funny you said that. That is one reason i went back to Trad bow. Saving weight instead of humping in 16lbs of stand and sticks, 6lbs of bow and other gear. I went to a saddle and dumped the stand altogether. Thanks for the video
We aren't getting any Younger for sure Curt. Started Working Construction in 7th Grade with my Electrical Contractor Uncles. Worked 8 years Non Union Sheet Metal 31 Years Union. Retired In October 2015 from The Union. I had major back surgery a year after. Throat Surgery 3 years ago and Knee Replacement March 3rd. I always said once I retire I'll be going Out West Fly Fishing and Hunting. Yeh Hello. The next Step is Shoulder replacement. Bone on Bone left shoulder. I see another Orthopedic Surgeon. next week for a second opinion. First Doc said wait 10 years for replacement. I'm 67. I'm liable to die on the operating table. I had to drop down to a 40# Bow. A Timberhawk Strike, plus a 43# Widow 56" PCH and a Northern Mist RAMER 41# at 27". Told my Knee Doc we should have all been born with Grease Fittings in our Joints. Years in The Gym really didn't help either.We are all like Old Ford and Chevys! I remember you were Union Laborer? I subscribe to The Guys at The Hunting Public too. Compound Guys but they Hunt Turkey, Deer and Elk all over. They all use the sticks and The Tree Saddle set up with a small platform. They go up some NARLY trees in the ares they hunt because there aren't many choices.

Hey Curt I wish you were a little closer, I am in Rome NY and so hard to find any traditional archers here. I have several traditional bows and just bought a Great Northern Fireball. I am having trouble dialing in my arrows for that bow. I may run out of time to be productive with it for this season and will fall back to my compound. I don't want to wound an animal. I'm an electrician and was swamped this year with work. All my recurves are fifty pounds and dropped to 45# for my longbow. I can't shoot more than 20 yards in my two stands I have set up in a travel corridor anyway. I just have to play around a little more but running out of time. Our season starts the 27th.

Hey Curt great content you produce thanks for all your hard work and knowledge. I've been trying to find a video made once that explained your golf bag Kart for a ground blind and hunting Kart and using a string on your arrow for turkey. I'd like to share it with some Buddies but I'm having a hard time finding it on your You Tube Channel.
