It looks small for a 27inch, almost looks to be 24inch. Anyway nice work. Do you have any video on the cinema display ( 24/27 ) ? And do you have any idea what the most common problem is with those displays ?

How do you manage to keep from getting bridges!!! On a fine pitch 48 pin chip I spent along time trying to clear bridges to the point I finally took the chip off and started over.

Seems uneconomical to repair a 10 year old machine but hey what do I know , jobs a job right

Well, there are folks out there like myself that enjoy the few things we have, so to just "buy a new one", is not an option, especially if it's DEFINITELY fixable. Also, maybe a $50 repair, is a better option than to spend $$$$...c'mon now

Working machine with a minor issue - even if it was yours and you thought it's time for an upgrade, why would you trash it? Fix and gift it to a not so demanding relative - you win, relative wins, repair shop wins, environment wins.

      HaxMcGee 50$ ?
I think minimum it’s 80$ time you factor shipping it’s 100$ , you can buy them for a little more on eBay with jumper wires etc but as I said jobs a job
