If you buy white and buy different color dyes you can make your own flex seal .
Scott Campbell awesome Idea
You have a gift for reviewing exactly what we want to see. Well done! I have subscribed. All good wishes for 2018!
Excellence in your thorough explanation of the product. OUTSTANDING!!!
it makes me sad that you dont get more views. I love your reviews like i have said before. I appreciate that hard effort it takes to put out these videos. always looking forward to the next one. thanks JD
This might be a stupid question, but can I use flex seal (the spray can) to cover up a medium hole in a glass door?
I accidentally wandered into this but I just gotta say its a great review, thoughtfully done and very well presented!
Danny McBride and Cleveland Brown's voices made a baby.
Oh and good review.
Rory Baranyai that's hilarious!

Awesome review!!
Question: what additive(s) can be mixed in prior to applying so after it drys, it’ll have a slight tacky/sticky feel ???
☝️☝️☝️ if someone knows, or has done this, please list the ratios you had success with.
Thx🙏🏽
Awesome, THX! Being as this product hardened when exposed to air. Question: The gallon you used once the lid is cracked and exposed to air how long will the product inside last after resealed? Does the opened and resealed product harden in the can quickly?
Glad to have you back Jd
Thanks for the honest review. It seems too good to be true. I'm trying to apply the Flex Seal liquid to fix a recurring leaking from the bathroom from the second floor to the first floor. Nothing has worked. I'm trying to seal the exterior sides of the bathtub and base and the toilet base and corners of the bathroom where water could leak. I've tried reapplying grout and then caulking it, but it didn't work. Would Flex Seal liquid work? How long should I wait before applying the second coat?
Really, how well does it adhere to surfaces? You know, how some products like Caulk peel off like if it was a smooth surface, like if it was a casting medium for a mold.
Could this be used for exterior retaining walls that have slight cracked ? Will it stick on the wall and can it be painted after it has cured for 30 days? Thanks and great video!
Thanks for this video. Would you recommend this for sealing a customized box trailer made out of plywood?
One side of the can - "Non Flammable Non Toxic Non Hazardous" Other side of the can - "CAUTION: COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED" So which one is it Flex Seal?!
Before and after use....
Also, swallowing fast drying liquid rubber might not be so good for the throat and stomach although, it would be hard to accidentally do that
After it dries.
so i think what it means is that it technically isn’t chemically hazardous but having liquid rubber solidifying in your stomach isn’t necessarily safe. as for the flammability contradiction, no fuckin clue
Flammable and harmful when in liquid form... Non flammable, and non toxic when cured. The toxic part is the evaporative solvent.
I just recently got into smelting lead to make diving weights,is this a suitable product for multiple salt water applications
Might be a dumb question...
Is it safe to come in contact with food/drinking water once dried?
TFS great review. I liked when you said colors please! That was funny. 😂 I'm glad this product worked out and yes the boat coating was gimmicky. 👍💗
Ok you gave it a 10 out o 10 for the stuff you tested
But if I used it on the bottom of a boat how would it stand up to it getting scraped by the shoreline over repeated time
You should try out those oven gloves, I'm worried they'll melt or something after too much use.
i used flex seal to get rid of all the leaks in my metal shed. AWSOME PRODUCT
You are an extremely good reviewer thank you for not wasting my time keep up the good work bro
Can this work on metal pipes to keep from rustying.Im thinking on water faucet pipe.
best flex seal review I've seen sew far

Noah used a similar product for the ark,,,,,,pine pitch with wood ashes and moss mixed into it!
I have a pipe that is leaking. I tried to use water resistant tape to stop the leak but it didn’t work. Do you think this will do the job successfully?
But can it SEAL MY EX WIFE'S MOUTH SHUT!?
shit my nigga u gotta try that for your own
karl28560
If you try it, let me know how it works! But I might need 2 gallons... SHE HAS A HUGE FRIGGIN' MOUTH!
😃
Showing the body off
karl28560 bro you are a savage I respect dat
karl28560 You should try that
I had a roof leak used flex seal spray, worked great repair done 5 yrs ago will buy again
Angel A.
I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been out for that long, but yeah that stuff is good for sealing leaks and cracks.
@Angel, I used it on my roof and gutters and did not work at all! Quit lying!
We been using the clear FlexSeal spray for an unfound roof leak also for two years. But we recoat the area every 6 months b\c we don't know if the heat from the sun breaks seal down or not.
@@dianneanderson731 , Spray it on your gutters when you get a leak on your gutters! I GUARANTEE IT WON'T WORK!
@@loribell9741 stfu
i live in az where the heat is extreme and the wind can be strong , i used flex seal to hold brackets on my concrete wall , 2 yrs later the brackets and the tarp are still up.. , i also had a water leak from my hot water heater not once but twice , having to replace walls sucks so this time i sealed the walls with flex seal liquid , not taking any chances .. only question i have now is how do i remove it from the walls to repaint before i seal it again?
Excellent comprehensive review. Thank you! :0)
Any tips on waterproofing a leaking concrete basement with liquid flex seal? Should you morter the joints or apply this right over it as is??
Do you think this would work good on the bottom of a metal kitchen chair..
I have metal kitchen chairs the plastic on the bottom has worn off and now it's metal on ceramic causing rust on my floor
I've been looking for something that will go on the bottom of my black chair legs that will last when people sit on it and stop the rusting
I figured I would dip the chair right in the flex liquid just enough to cover the bottom and then let it dry..
What do you
Great video, thank you. I'm making an outdoor wreath out of cardboard and paper towel rolls. I want to use flex seal to waterproof it and I wanted to know if after it is completely dry if it can be spray painted and if the paint will stay nicely or peel off? I would use a krylon paint I think?
This was before Flex Tape (I think). I used Flex Tape to fix the passenger's side rear view mirror on my car. after being in the sun, it lost it's grip and started to move. So basically all it did was leave a sticky mess on the mirror.
Thanks for the review JD
Can I use this to seal a slow leak on asphalt shingle roof with skylight?
I use this product on my RV on top roof. Please could you tell me this product outlast for how many years before the seal break and leaks again?. Thank you I really appreciate
what I like to see is the flex tape ... can it hold up to the pressure, can you use it to fix a slashed Tire on the side not on the tread
Can it be used to seal a 75 psi 210° steam pipe?
Had a bad vaccum leak on a plastic intake on an automobile throwing engine codes. Bad location. Used the flex seal spray and my headaches were over. I wish they would attach a straw or tubing to the end of the can to pinpoint spray. I know it would have to be made out of material that wouldnt clog but it would make applying spray that much better for hard to spray places
Dude is awesome. A honest and thorough review is hard to find. You just found yourself another subscriber!
I wonder can it hold good at high temperatures?
Flashing on the roof around my fireplace is letting water in, would this work to fix the leak?
Why use anything else?
Can l put flex seal on my desk floor instead install new vinyl sheet desk floor , that was vinyl too old and worn out some where ., is it working for whole desk ? Anyone comment about that ? Thanks Hien
If I was to paint a floor with this... do you think it would be slippery to walk on or does it stick like rubber?
You should paint it on a pieces of different materials (wood, shingle roof, sheet metal, glass) and expose those pieces to the elements for a year and see what happens after a year of abuse!
It would be great to see how it holds up, but it is specifically designed as a temporary solution to a leak
I have seen all the ads. I never heard the word "temporary"
*_N O W T H A T S A L O T T A D A M A G E_*
This stuff will not last 3 months, Lloyd , roofer 35 years.
Roofers don't want to lose business, not sure I can trust their testimony.
I want to use the spray for a leaky seal between my windshield and roof on my van. Would it be better to use this?
Can i paint this on the liner of my pool if it is dry? The wind blew it over and has a few little holes in it?
When he started mentioning the boat being covered in flex seal I almost died of laughter! 😂😂😂
Dude I feel like I'm watching local tv from the early 90s what's up with the colors?
Just as Flex Seal did with their aerosol product I imagine that they will offer a greater color selection after the product is on the market for a longer period of time. It's to see if it will be a seller
Great video. I agree completely. I don't know why this stuff gets a bad rap, it's been great for my purposes.
You deserve more subs bra!! Keep up the good work
You sound like Cleveland Brown
i think he is
Have you oir do you know if anyone has used Flex Seal to seal minor leaks in low pressure tires such as those used on ATVs and lawn mowers? I'm not a fan of using slime, but this rubberized product seems to be a good match for rubber tires.
How long will that $90 can be good after opening and using a small amount? Seems like it would set up and be unusable.
how does it hold up when it has standing water on a place you have sealed such as a low spot in a rain gutter where water could sit for weeks before evaporating? Anyone have a long term review as this product is not inexpensive?
How does everyone else get it to look shiny? When I used it on a piece of a ferret cage I broke, it looked like matte black paint and had a lot of pores.
Hello Nitro is this available in clear liquid or spray , i need to use it to spray on bathroom tiles which are a little leaking , i think it should be a temporary good product to seal any leaks . pls advise . thanks
wow you left the hammer outside for a week, what a test! amazing
the hammer isn’t going peel off by letting it sit... you’re going to have to use it to see if the rubber stays
does this work in wet material..i have a leaky roof and it has been raining and now today it is not.but wet material?
Can you paint over the top of it? I want to use it on the siding where I have cracks on my mobile home. There is large cracks forming where the pieces sheets of wood like material come together. (like T 1-11 but not) meet. I have to do something about them because this winter it will leak through it to the inner part of the house. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks.
How about painting your piece whatever color you want and then applying clear Flexseal??
I have a 500 gallon plastic (it is roto molded plastic - whatever that is) cistern that is full of water. There is a 2" threaded outlet at the bottom of the tank with a plastic pipe screwed into those threads and a plastic on/off valve screwed onto the pipe.
The pipe, at the tank, has a small leak. I put silicone on that leak many years ago, but tonight I dislodged the silicone and it is dripping...
Will this product Flex Seal work for my situation? I would like to remove the silicone and spray this stuff around the pipe coming out of the tank. Will this product work if my pipe/tank is a little wet?
Once you open the can it will go bad (set up in the can) is there any way to stop this?
Can you use on a shower where stupid installers left a gap between the tile and shower pan where water and mold is accumulating.
I'm building a koi pond and I have a concrete foundation do you think this will be a good recommendation to seal the concrete
Great video: you helped me. I just bought the smallest size, planning to coat a 2' x 4' sheet of plywood to use as a table top in my wood shop. I need a waterproof surface for my wet sharpening stones and wet grinder. After seeing your review I'm not sure I want to use it: you said particles cling to it, and this makes sense because of how rubbery it is. But in my wood shop there is always dust here and there, even though I clean up at the end of every session. I suspect my Flex Seal table top will be forever pitted with little dust particles that I'll never be able to get out. Can you answer this question for me: once the Flex Seal cures, do you think the particles will come off with a wet sponge, or do they stick around more than that? Thanks again. You have a unique style, but it's clear you've thought carefully about your content. Nice work.
If you went with the clear Flex Seal instead of the black then the little dusty bits wouldn't show up nearly as much as they would against a dark surface :-)
I’d go with polyurethane the surface might be better for your application
Hey man, any product suggestions for a liquid coating to grip a PS4 controller? I used the tool product platidip and it is ok but I'm looking for something more grippy or tacky
would this work, to add a rubber type grip to a stainless steel knife handle ?
How do you paint this material I put it down in the bathroom and read some reviews it was paintable but it’s resisting the paint suggestions
Can you use it in fish aquariums without it leaching anything into the water?
Thanks for making this video I really needed this video and thanks for your honesty I do trust your reviews 👍👍👍👍👍
Thinking of trying this on my hockey sticks. How easy is it to remove? Can it be cut and peeled off with a razor blade for example?
Can you paint over flex seal?
thanks for the review on this product yup I need some!
Can I use this on my inground pool? Its got some minor craking. No leaks though. Just some flaking off the walls and some in the bottom.
Will it seal my driveway's asphalt contact with the asphalt street (where it crumbles)?
I need some of this to seal the outside of my shed floor so rain won't come in. Do you think it will work for that?
Will this work on a concrete wall where there are tiny leaks between the cinderblocks?
The real question is.... How long does it last after it's applied????
I'd like to know how much each sized can will cover ... Nothing on their website either.
The original flex seal when it first came out only had black, white, gray, and clear color options too
Damn buddy your lucky, I used some flex caulk 2 years ago and I am still extremely happy with the results. That shits right up there with shark bites. Flex products are a blessing to plumbers everywhere
I have pinholes in a canoe and thinking of using this, but my main worry is abrasion. If I fill the holes and it gets dragged on ground or bottoms out in shallows will the flex seal hold or not. Have yet to see anything about this.
Chuck Marianik ive got a jon boat I'm about to flex seal. instead of painting the outside I'm painting the inside. if it is as strong as it is advertised to be it should work either way.
*exclamation point*
This is how many times he said "exclamation point"

If you got clear flex seal you can mix in pigments or dyes to get the right color.
Hi, does anybody know if this works in high temperature condition like to hold a leak of fluids near my car engine?
Good review, but colors, lint? Four shades already plenty to remedy a problem and knock off lint etc. with a quick slide of a rag. Thank you for your review. I'm going to patch a few small leaks on my flat top roof with it until the big resurfacing job,later..
Maybe they should make air filters out of that stuff for the home air purifiers. Catches air particals and rises off. Sounds possible!
Nice job. But I need to know if it be applied 'under' water?
Need a PSI test on the holes in that bottle.
Put a small hole in a water hose. Seal it. Then turn water on. Will it still hold?
I want to use this stuff to paint my fenders on my jeep wrangler. Think it would work?
Can you use this product inside a fiberglass RV on the walls, what is the V.O.C??
Your little test are cool but I used it on my RV and after a year it cracked and peeled off mind you I use the stuff in the spray can but it doesn't last long.
can i paint in top of the flex seal????? thanks for let me know.
