Always played this with the open low E string ringing out for the opening phrase, thought I was going insane so just rewatched him playing it live and he definitely playing the open E string. Looks like a lot of us are looking forward to learning this. Good for timing and strumming. I’m a lazy strummer, find it tough to get up to speed, always have a habit of lagging a bit behind.
