The Gin Blossoms was one those quintessential 90s rock band with that 90 ingredient and groove that still no other bands since the 90s has been able to capture, RIP Doug Hopkins. If you are trying to sound like the 90's not a bad thing at all check out "Alex Sucks" these guys are really really close. My pro-tip is, the 90s was grungy AF, it was everywhere just remember to add your attitude to your music along with your issues and a slightly out of tune guitar. Do not let "perfect" be the enemy of "good".
