Some years ago I had the pleasure to listen to the V16-Engine of an Auto-Union Pre-War-Racer. That was quite similar - in spite of the temperament. Remember the odd DKW-Formua 3=6. In this case that means 8=16!
Where are you planing to use this engine? Please, could you add more details? Why are you testing in vertical position? Could you inform specs, built process and other info?
Hey I know this is an older video, I'm just curious. Did you or have you considered putting a blower under it and then trying a turbo setup? It sucks we cant pm on here anymore. I'm a machinist and I've been thinking about trying to build a ford 7.3L turbo diesel into 2 cycle with a blower/compound turbo diesel setup Kind of like how the old Detroit's use to be. I could definitely use some input and ideas.
@@BrattyBiker 2 stroke diesels are another story, there's some out there running a supercharger in conjunction with a turbocharger granted they're opposed pistons sharing a cylinder, some have poppet valves as well. They're definitely a rabbit hole on their own.
Was ich mich frage wie geht das mit der. Einspritzung weil da wird kein Druck er zeugt der da durch das der Kolben nach unten geht weil der andre Kolben hoch geht?
Sure, 6 cylinders. So fucking what? I could get that out of 4 cylinders easily. All depends on the cylinder volume and the stage of tuning. Please do your research before whining about things you do not know a thing about.
If you could make a marine engine with 4 cylinders make 300 HP you would be a millionaire manufacturer and working with Mercury or another big marine engine builder and not be commenting on you tube videos OK :)
codalmighty85 Don't get your panties in a wad, it's not like 300 HP is a huge amount. If a team of engineers got together they could easily produce 400 HP per liter, though they'd have to throw durability out the window.
Jeffery Lutge they are totally not... Two stroke engines need some backpressure from the exhaust to keep the mixture in the cylinder. www.2strokeengine.net/2strokeenginepics/n-wave_2.gif
Where is your ear protection? Sorry, WHERE IS YOUR EAR PROTECTION!
Lance Craig huh? Repeat that !
too awesome for this world
this is soooooooooo good ....I would love to live next door to this sound....
Looks like and sounds like an OMC carbureted 3.6-liter two-stroke V8 engine. It's just an old 275 HP outboard boat motor.
I love that !! 2 strokes rule !!
That is WICKED!!! Keep posting vidss of the project as it gets done.
Fan va gött! De där har jag väntat länge på!
how far can you drive with the garden hose connected to it?
Best comment 😂😂😂
love to see this in an ICE sled

You going to stick this in a very fast boat i bet.
Galet ballt! Som någon annan sa, fortsätt hålla oss uppdaterade.
Let's see it in the boat!!!
Thats where it came from. Its an old 250hp Evinrude V8. He just took the power head off and put exhaust pipes on it.
wow!Can t wait for an project update

it an outboard boat motor. thats why its vertical. A big one from the sound of it.
Would this fit in a bike, I wonder...? Might need to reshape the pipes a bit, but...
have you thought of a name for this motor?? what about MEDUSA or HYDRA?
Maybe Sleipner, would be much cooler.
so badarse! very nice
Sounds awesome 👍
Not counting ex. wives, nothing sounds as agressive as a 2 stroke.
litt eksos lekkasje
finally a v8 that even I like. this originally was a boat engine?
That’s a mean leaf blower engine
Vill se mera !
u should built that in the trike motorcycle mane
Is this a OMC/Evinrude 2 stroke V-8 from their outboard boat motor?
I always wondered how a 2 stroke V-8 would perform on the street.
+Ahnko Chee Outdoors They used to build 2 stroke diesels for semi truck use. They were made by detroit diesel. (they sound awesome)
i want to see it in a track, this thing would eat tires this thing should be in a formula 1 lol

You can’t properly turbo a 2 stroke

When will we see it going in a car ?
Simeon Petkov it's in the car now!
+Ethanmeister What are the horsepowers u hope to reach? And what is the full setup when looking at the carbs and ignition and stuff?
+Green Vespa sorry it's not my build I've just been following it.

Put dat engineer in à street buggy
Ca hk med ny eksos? Er det 3.6xp?
so is this going in your next drag car?
Whats the displacement?
More information on this?
Carbon monoxide poisining
What's a Rudezon...
Took them 8 cylinders to get 300 HP... With new technology Mercury and other manufacturers produce 300 HP to the prop with just 6 cylinders.

John Mansfield the new mustang 4 banger with some serious power
vad är det för märke på motorn? svincoolpä :)
dude open the exhaust more!!!!!!

Mr123456789159753 learned something today ty
Not a problem ;)
Found video... thought it was weird...

It’s too loud to hear the actual tone of the motor
rasses rieju
Ska du trimma lite?
20.000 rpm??
impossible
Probably more like 8 or something like that
12 000 possible i think but the max power is probably a 7000-8000
around 6000 rpm those engines will do.
That's German
