Four months ago I said the game reminded me of a poem called Paradise Lost by Milton. A month ago the game basically confirmed it.

Man, when I read the princess' lines in this I could only imagine Fischl the whole time LOL. Was it just me?
The story itself is pretty zany but honestly reminded me of some classic 90's anime like Tenchi Muyo and FLCL. Not entirely sure how much deep lore we can extract from the tale, but maybe you guys catch something I missed? There are a TON of different anime/pop culture references in the story, starting with the opening referencing the Valkyries of the Honkai universe on to Howl's Moving Castle and even The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time at the end.

Also, the last volume literally says "From battling Signor Inferno", i just lost when i heard that, that's like, aren't they just talking about Signora fight? "...to slaying the Star Devourer" that's probably about some future boss. It talks about our journey. There is so much to think about, i'm just saying a few obvious things.

Delphi? In the Byakuyakoku Collection, that’s mentioned as the long former name of Serpent’s Heart.
Also mentioned is that Serpent’s Heart “play[s] host to a certain phenomenon in which space itself might overlap”.
Kinda a weird coincidence there, esp with Ike and Definitely-Not-Fischl. Considering the new archon quest, I wonder if Vera’s melancholy has any connection to Enkanomiya before it sank.

With trying to theorize on this book, my brain is just expanding. I certainly feel like that's an allegory just like it was introduced in the 3.3 archon quest. It has to do something with the "power from beyond" that was mentioned in the teyvat chapter preview. As well maybe to Khaenri'ah??? I even felt as if they were talking about Pierro at some point, wasn't he also called the wizard in the 3.3 quest, as in this book? And i feel like all main characters in this book supposed to represent someone, what comes to mind is: Dainsleif, Lumine, Aether, Paimon, but i can't really figure out who is who.

I've been wanting an audiobook for the books from genshin because I'm too lazy too read but at the same time interested with the content
Wait... Sachi lost one eye ????? Could it be that Sachi was a metaphor to King Irmin ???? And this was his backstory ?????
This book just fuels my crack theory of that King Irmin was the Outlander that fell in love with a Moon Sister/Ancestor of the Seelie, in which their union caused a great calamity... could it be that King Irmin 'actions were, like Sachi, motivated to save his lover ??? to turn back time ???? to reweave fate ???
This is totally a crack theory that has no backbone other than crosschecking similar physical characteristic between a mysterious yet incredibly important person in the lore and a fictional book character in a fictional world, but damn me if this was not Genshin's way of foreshadowing something......
You guys rock for making these audio books! I’m definitely process more information when I’m listening than when I’m reading, I tend to miss a lot of details. You all are life savers so I don’t have to read the books on my tiny screen.
So glad to have more of these! I have poor eyesight, so it's a pain reading them on a computer screen. The only tiny complaint I might offer is that the music is a bit loud and makes listening a bit hard at spots. But that's a small thing, and your channel is great!
Ike is most likely an allegory for phannes, fischl/andro basillisk/princess is probably sustainer
Allegory has proved all these stories the most important
3.3 has really brought out the need for more in game book audiobook content for the general playerbase and I'm glad more people will check this aspect of the game lore. Thanks for this vid!

More than one year ago people were counting the Honkai Valkyries because of this book... but they only added up to 13. Since then, so many new Valkyries got added that the number surpasses 14... So, yeah? XD
