It's been a while since I narrated an in-game book series, and today I'm bringing one requested by a twitter follower to life! I love these little stories within the greater story of Genshin.
Hex & Hound is a bit of in-game historical fiction (maybe, hehe) that takes place during the Lawrence clan's reign of Terror in Mondstadt. A hapless young noble sets his eyes on a young beauty and ends up transformed into a dog by a witch! - Hry
Oh my goodness. Doesn't this whole tale run reminiscent to elements Caterpillar World Quest, especially when diving into the details of exploring the Book of Revealing?
How the forest gradually transformed into a haunting night when a 'forbidden' figure stepped in and their presence alone disrupted the obsession created lands.
The angle of how a Riftwolf can have the alternate view of a dog, when Nottfriga was intentionally trying to generate another wolf but wound up WITH a dog somehow??
Seeing how Rhinedottir herself managed to join the witch society of the Hexenzirkel, could this mean she was privy to many of their concepts? Having you re-read this really just made my eyes shoot open.

how am i just discovering this chanel, ooh my god now i can actually listen to the lore of the stuff i have not read about and do something else meanwhile,
despite being a lore nerd, ive only read a few of the books and artifact sets and weapons (mostly only the important ones like golden torupe set/ paradise lost set/ boook of sun and moon and most of the sumeru weapons and stuff) but never brought myself to read the other books and stuff, mostly only read any overworld notes because i know if i dont read them now, i will never find them again
