With Hoyo’s way of misdirection and vagueness, while I’m also convinced Herb Lord = Changsheng, there have been some other sleights of hand that make me only 95% sure….
After all, the Primordial one, is “may be Phanes….” a year and a half later…
Excellent video again. I thought it was fairly evident that Changsheng was the Herb Lord.
I personally suspect that The Second Throne and The Primordial One are mostly powerless after the Archon War and the Sustainer is the only thing keeping order. Why she is silent is going to be a revelation, I think.

Theres no way the herblord is NOT chang sheng. I'm sure there will be future interactions between Baizhu,chang sheng and fujin as fujin said she wanted to visit liyue. However we may have to wait for next years lantern rite for that to happen :)
It's interesting from xianyun's story quest that it almost implies that wild cranes are immortal, well at least the ones that changed like yandai to sentient etc. Theres a lot of dialogue from xianyun that implies that the wild cranes are all xianyun's children, she literally calls them "progeny". Even though xianyun herself says that she's never been an actual mother.
SiliconOneFour uploaded a pretty convincing theory about the nameless god the Chenyu adepti served being Guizhong earlier today. What do you think?

Also, if I unserstood anything from Chenyu Vale is that this fandom has a low reading comprehension ability, and that they LOVE to argue things that are very obvious just not straight up spelled to them, the Chengchang being herb lord, Zhongli being the Golden God ... many things that you'll fight to get accross and that people wouldn't want to beleive until you rub it on their face, as you said it, showcases a huge cultural difference across the fandom . It's refreshing to find a channel such as yours.
That being said, ai still do not see the parallel you drew between the sea of qanta and the Primordial sea 😅
Since you have a low register voice, would it be possible to up the volume of your audio next time. This was really fascinating to think about but even on upping my hardware volume I had real problems hearing all you said. Also: I recently did Baizhu's story quest and Changsheng admits that when she was found those five herbal masters ago (there are only 5 predecessors depicted in one of those slides), she had forgotten a lot about her past - I agree with other commenters that she must be Herblord.
