He seems to have come in, connected with everyone in a unique way and pulled the family closer through food as they all gather together around the kitchen bench as he cooks. I don't know if it's because he basically came in as an adult after years with no contact or his personality but just like you I noticed it.❤😊😊

Made me cry. My son will be 9th grade this year and has struggled his whole life in school and with making friends. But he has also overcome and accomplished a lot. Congrats Max!!

I think this is the very first time I have seen a photo of just the bio kids alone and I have watched almost every video from the very start. It just shows and means that there's no lines or space in this family of who is adopted and that they are just a whole family biological or not. My heart warms up every time I see how great of a person Halie and Max has become and how beautiful their smiles are through the years because they deserve to be so happy and accomplished. From allowing their parents to be parents of more kids and accepting their siblings as equal with no complain or judgement which is really rare. They are just siblings who loves every kid as their own. They have such good upbringing since they are young and I wish them all the success and everyone.

I'm so happy Tristan was able to get his addiction under control and come back to his family. As a recovering heroin addict (9 years sober) i could relate to his story and falling out with Aaron. Aaron broke my heart during that q and a video. It brings me back to my mother and i not speaking. She thanks God for my son everyday bc getting pregnant is what saved me. I tease her all the time and tell her I'll never let my brother know that my kid is the favorite grandchild bc he brought her daughter back to her. I could completely relate to y'all's story and Aaron, don't let it bother you bc for addicts we kind of have to lose everyone who matters to truly look in the mirror and get it together. I just love seeing Tristan get to come in to all these family life events and know he's still part of your family.

First congratulations Max on graduating. Secondly, since I started watching y'all I noticed that no matter the issue no matter the problem you and Aaron have taught your kids to fight to the finish line. This is no different. Even though Max struggled he has fought to the finish line. It may not have been easy but he did it. Also Tristan coming back made Max and the other kids open up which I love. I hoped all parents taught like u.
I can still remember mine. I'm glad Max walked. My daughter is dyslexic also. She received her GED. She wouldn't let me give her a party.

I had NO desire to walk with my graduating class. I went to a huge high school and went half a day for half a year as I already had all my credits. I didn't care either and have NO regrets. I have zero connection with those people to this day... You do you Max!

My youngest son struggled with dyslexia and no one would listen to me as a parent that he was having issues and to have him tested until he was in the 3rd grade and by then he would cry most of the day and it got to the point that he was physialcally ill. He was literally throwing up everyday. We changed school districts and we were heard and got him on the right path with the help of new teachers and doctors we got to a good place and he graduated May 16, 2021. It was so emotional for me because it was such a struggle in the beginning I didn't think we would ever see the day he graduated.

I’m 37 and my daughter is 18- had her my Senior year. I didn’t go to prom or my graduation. Looking back I wish I would’ve but I do the same and encourage my kids to not miss out on any of the experiences❤️ You and Aaron are doing an amazing job!!

I’m happy Max walked across the stage. I encourage anyone who completed preschool, kindergarten, middle, high school, college to walk if they have the opportunity. It’s the greatest feeling ever! I struggled during my high school years…every year I went to a different school and gave my mom an extremely hard time (due to not wanting to go to school) 😢…literally crying while typing this. The last school I attended was hybrid, we had a class of 30 something students to only 3 of us graduating. But, I’m happy to say I persevered and so did you Max!! Congratulations Aaron & Crystal as well!! To have several of your children complete high school shows how incredible you two are at this parenting thing!!
Such a cute little fellow. It seems he has made some changes to his style and appearance recently which have really enhanced his good looks. He has always seemed like a nice guy and I've been watching for a long time.

Thanks for sharing his school journey. It is exactly what I needed to hear. I just found out I have to find a new school for my adopted boys. They got so behind while in foster care, and school is so hard on our family...... I am encouraged that you just do what fits the kids best.

I watched this video after a particularly hard morning with my 4 month and 2.5 year old boys. This was a nice reminder that even though things are hard today, someday I'm going to miss this. Someday they will be grown up, graduating and moving out.

Congratulations Max & family! I'm so glad you had Max attend graduation and walk the stage! My son missed out on his HS graduation and so much of his senior experiences in 2020. He finally got the graduation experience this past May when he graduated from college! A month later, my daughter graduated from high school. Like Max, she also struggled throughout school. Her bullying started in 1st grade. Every other year in grade school she had a teacher that would treat her like she was dumb or naughty. At the graduation ceremony, in front of 500+ of her peers, she was asked to stand (with others) 6 times so her awesome achievements could be acknowledged. Then she walked the stage. It all was a little embarrassing for her, but it's a day she will never forget, for all the right reasons!

Ahh seeing this today truly made me teary eyed. Turned 29 yesterday and watching max graduate brought back so many memories and feelings of the day I graduated😭🥹 I love how Aaron put it "it's a day to close one chapter of your life and entering your next chapter" What I always tell my nephews and nieces is to enjoy these moments, because once you graduate the adult life begins and that's for eternity but being young and in your adolescent years truly are for a moment in time 😭 congrats max , may your next steps in life be blessed and prosperous 🎉
