Wow. I’ve never realized Jana had such an outgoing personality! She’s beautiful and glad to see that she dresses the way she wants to. Very wholesome.

She’s not falling out of the outfit or anything. It’s still modest, that same outfit on me would look VERY inappropriate. 🙈 But she looks very wholesome in it. 🥰 clothing is not one size fits all with the same rules applying to everyone equally. I genuinely would not look as appropriate in that outfit, I’m too curvy. For her it modestly shows she has curves but she is still covered, I wouldn’t be. 😬 She is making wise choices as an adult going by the heart of the matter and not one size fits all rules that won’t be the same for all. In the same way, I wouldn’t be surprised if she has shorts on under that skirt so she is free to be athletic too. No one teaches their kids to flip upside down on a jungle gym without modest enough cloths to do so.
She even have jeans now👍🏽

No way. Jana was part of the tlc spin off show. If Jana got a TV deal with another network. Jimbob and company get 15% of any type of TV deals are made. Jana is better off trying to get off of Duggar compound first before anything else.
No, she just needs to do her own youtube channel and not be owned by a network.

@@pmsbetty1 do you really think she is happy still living under jimbob rules. If she could afford to live off the property she would but she is not married and whatever money she does make she has to give it to her father. There's no way for her escape jimbob. You got to remember she got charged with child endangerment and she took the plea deal which she got 3 years of jail time suspended but she on probation for 5 years. And she had to take classes again and she had to pay legal fees and court costs too. Plus she was order to 5 grand in damages also too. Jana will never get away from jimbob. Jana found a nice guy but once she got into the legal trouble and the court case was over. A week later it was said that the guy decided not to move forward with the relationship anymore and told this to Jana through a phone call and not in person meeting either.
Nothing wrong with living with fammily as an adult but every adult wants their own space, I'm happy you have that and it's adorable!
Hurry and get married and move away !!! Leave parents in the dust

Wow, the happiness I feel for this girl is immense. She has always been my favorite. Her somewhat shy, quiet demeanor, creative spirit & helpful nature always seems so genuine. I am so happy she has a place of her own. Her choice not to marry so young was brave given her environment and she truly follows her own heart. She has grown into a beautiful, stylish, confident seemingly content woman who has created & embraced her own path. And kudos to Jessa for being there for her sister. So glad they still seem close.
I always rooted for Jana. I was not a fan of the show because it promoted women depending on marriage and kids for fulfillment, but I always looked to Jana as inspiration. I love to see her forging her own life path.
Marriage and having children is normative and it is very fulfilling. That doesn't mean those the Lord gifted with singleness or who struggle with infertility cannot be fulfilled. Christians must find contentment and identity in Christ first and foremost. But if that's the message you got from the show...I think maybe you need to look at it again without bias.
It's the biblical way.
Jana spent her entire life raising little kids. She is perfectly ok in remaining childless, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I admire that about her

“Dressed normally” You do realize that skirts and dresses are normal right? She has always dressed normally. Women who choose to wear skirts and dresses are dressed normally it’s a very common fashion trend that has been around for many years and will continue to be around til the end of time. So let’s not make women who choose to dress that way feel less than or feel they “aren’t dressed normally”.
I think they maybe meant not a skirt to her ankles like we were so used to seeing all the girls in years prior. That was something I noticed right away.

I forget the name of the other family, but they all dressed modestly, but not quite as similarly as the young Duggers did. But also that was 15-35 years ago. I think people forget how long ago this was and some of the stranger clothes we pictured them in and we’re honestly just those longer 90s styles they thrifted that just creeped a little longer into the early 2000s for them probably because mama was too busy to be reading a fashion magazine where those 2009 girls still would’ve looked modest with dresses over jeans, infinity scarves covering their necklines, and tank tops over shirts had they been more “in style.” 😂 meaning the other style was garbage anyway and it wasn’t such a tragedy that they missed out on short dresses over jeans. Then, or now they all seem to have the heart of the matter still intact. She looks wholesome and how she’s dressed is fine if she was nursing, pregnant, or a curvier girl she probably wouldn’t be wearing that outfit, the outfit shows her curves, but not inappropriately showing everything. She knows how to be modest for her body type, modesty is not one size fits all, but as a parent of even four kids sometimes you wind up with giving your kids. One size fits all solutions for efficiency and to be fair. And that’s okay as long as you take time to talk about the heart of the matter.

Smart sometimes looks like having kids young and more energy to keep up with them then going on to enjoy your own pursuits when the kids are older. Everyone's journey looks different.

I got engaged at 19. My sister got engaged at 39, it really doesn’t matter. My husband was also a single adult for a while, not dating anyone till he met me when he was 29, there’s an age difference, but I was more advanced emotionally, spiritually, and financially at 19 then most people are by 40 and my husband was honestly, probably ready for marriage since he was about 22, but I obviously was too young and so he just had to wait and we never met till I was 18 and he was 28, despite the fact that he had known my sisters who were older, for seven years. I wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up with a younger guy, and there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes God just needs to get one of the people in the couple ready. It’s about God’s timing and way, not ours. And not everyone does Mari and I think whether you’re 18 or 58 you have to come to terms with that and be OK. In the same way some people marry young and lose their husband while still fairly young. We all just need to do what’s right, and when you’re walking the right path, sometimes you look over and the right person is right next to you.

I really hope that show post more often. Because she was in the older group we really didn't get to see Jana one-on-one that much and get to know her as a person or personality and what she loves and that. Every once in a while she would post like when she worked in the garden or I love when she redid that church I would love to see how it is now can other project she was on I hope that continues.

I have watched many HGTV tiny house shows that showcase a tiny house lifestyle but don’t show the practical day-to-day living and storage challenges associated with lack of space. I enjoyed seeing how you managed that lack of storage, yet still made your tiny space look organized and stylish. And I loved your outdoor spaces! Thanks for sharing.

Cute space. You have everything you need. I especially liked the way you have your yard set up for large social gatherings around the fire pit/barbeque you have there with the lights and chairs.
It's great to see Jana having a life of her own on her own. Did anyone else notice her hair is much shorter than she used to wear it. Watching this video it's apparent that she's changed her wardrobe as well.

Simple is good. I like it. In our large family there were only 9 kids. Our youngest uncle never wanted a family of his own. He had plenty of family relationships without the responsibility of paying for everything. I dont think he had any regrets.
How sweet, and so cozy! My daughter lives in a studio apartment and maximized her storage as well. It is nice when you can put things away, definitely less clutter equals a calmer and less stressful living area. Good for you Jana, great job! ❤
