Happy to help! It is worth noting that I made a mistake when I stated that the Timberline has two fans. It does have the downdraft exhaust but it does not have a second fan as only one fan is actually needed to circulate the air throughout the grill.

Backcountry Beyond Jeremy I have a pro 780 does this timberline give more smoke flavor? I use mostly charcoal or stick burner and I know the 780 does not really give much smoke flavor. Please advise.....the true smoke sounds great but does it work well?

@@Rbouch I would say that the Timberline does smoke more than the Pro series but it's worth noting that the Traegers do produce a milder smoke flavor than a stick burner. If you're looking for a heavier smoke flavor on your Traeger, the A-MAZE-N Smoker Tube might be a good option for you.

Should edit your title to add ‘Gen 2’ version of the 1300

Can you please do a video showing off the super smoke mode on either the Ironwood or timberline? I have a Pro 780 but it doesn't produce much smoke. I love it otherwise.

Check out the Jalapeno Popper video we just posted today. The Super Smoke feature works great! We use it all the time at the store.

ironwood vs timberline is it worth it for the more money? you like the 3 racks and smaller barrel size or the 2 racks with the larger barrel size. witch is more particle?
thanks. i also want the 1300 but not think is necessary and its a lot more cash.
size 1300 vs 885 how much of a different is it really? thanks man

The numbers in the grill name correspond directly to the amount of grilling space. The Ironwood 885 has 885 square inches of space. The Timberline 1300 has 1300 square inches of space. The biggest advantage with the Timberline is the heavy duty construction. It is a very heavy grill and you will definitely want some help with assembling and moving it. It is fully dual-wall insulated, which means you will burn less pellets when cooking in the Fall/Winter seasons. If you want the best of the best, get the Timberline. If you want comparable performance at a lower price and don't mind burning a few more pellets in cold weather, go with the Ironwood. Ultimately, you will be quite happy with the performance you will get from either model. I hope this helps.
