I can't get over how beatiful and cheap the 235,000 house is
It almost looked like you had the prices mixed up. The floor plan (just from what was seen) in the 200k house looked more open in place than the others. The others had a few appliance upgrades but didn’t do much else for me. Unless the sq ft was drastically different I would go with the 200k and add all those upgrades👍🏽

5 Min Keto Actually if you buy in the Antelope Valley of Los Angeles county you can get a decent home. I bought my 5 bedroom 1500 square foot home back in 2015 for $182,000. Mortgage was $1231.00 before I made upgrades now it’s 1565.00.
@Kiya Cherrae The value of the home increased because you made some renovations but the mortgage payment shouldn't of increased. The mortgage loan is for what the house was paid for when you originally bought it. For example if you bought a house for 150k and the value increased to 200k, mortgage payment should still stay the same and you would have a 50k equity. Your lender is scamming you lol.

Kiya Cherrae Lowering the loan length would increase the monthly payment in most cases. That makes sense, but they still should've of added on to the loan because the home increased in value. Maybe I'm missing something.
@@lefthanded5473 Yeah i called the bank. They said i would have to take out a home equity line of credit to pay off that Hero loan i attached to my mortgage. That's basically another loan so imma just try to make more money and pay it off quicker.

In Texas we have a couple acres of land and over 3000 sq feet for $3k. No state income tax and food is cheaper too.

Miami: 2 bedroom house (1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 living room)
NYC: 1 bedroom studio (1 bedroom, 1 living room)
California: 1 room studio (everything packed into a small bedroom-sized house.
House 1 wasn't shit; house 2 was ok, but house 3 was all that, and then some. Everything was gorgeous from the kitchen, to the master suite, to the exterior.

All of them are no doubt good buys. Some places seem to give you more for the money IF you made more money somewhere else. Of course, local housing costs seem to adjust to local wages, so homes are always expensive relative to their local markets. Nowadays, the difference between an expensive home and an inexpensive one is tied to the size of the home/lot and the neighborhood more than to the quality of construction. Therefore, you often can buy pretty much the same beige home in three different sizes in three different kinds of neighborhood.
I don't know how it is in Dallas, but in Phoenix, modern homes in some markets lack the charm of design found in homes from other eras. Most homes In Phoenix built in the last 30 years are one of three shades of brown stucco, cube-like, on small gravel lots, and they seem to have one of no more than three elevations - the presumed idea being that every neighborhood should look like an apartment complex. Construction quality is basically no better than that of a mobile home, and the homes are intended to last no more than a generation (roughly the amount of time required to pay down a mortgage) before being consumed by termites. The lack or artistry and imagination, however, is more than offset by all of that sunshine filtered through a hefty brown... and all of the developers know it.
Suburban Nashville, by contrast, has beautiful newer homes on large lots for relatively little money.

The 200k house looked better than the 500k house by a ton. The design was atrocious on the 500 k and it looked old and dated. The million dollar home had a beautiful kitchen and nice bathroom but again such an odd layout. And it looked very small for 1 million. Must have paid too much for making the floors look nice
