6:16 This is such a cool and clever auditive illusion.
The first set of 32th notes (or however they're called in english) does change to match the first violin's part, but then for the bars afterwards only plays the first note, yet you're pretty much sure to naturally fill the gap subconsciously in your mind and almost hear as if the 32th notes kept changing too.
I feel like for a composer that's often unjustifiably criticized for his alleged compositional simplicity, Vivaldi was such a master at giving simple motifs or harmonies so much more weight and depth through either the process of speed or orchestration which very often results in these auditive illusions.
Once you start noticing them you realize how clever these "simple" motifs are, and how utterly filled to the brim Vivaldi's pieces are with these.

So full of life & energy. Vivaldi composes easily, like it's just poured into his head from heaven.

Il largo e' semplicemente strepitoso e moderno, la grandezza di Vivaldi è anche ,tra tutte le altre cose geniale che ha fatto, quella di anticipare il gusto musicale di circa 3 secoli , anzi è proprio senza tempo.

Three of the best cello concertos ever: the one by Schumann, Haydn's concerto in D major and this one.

I'm very fond of his cello concerti. Could you please upload RV 420 and RV 401? They are both extremely beautiful, but I can't find their complete manuscripts. And it would be even better if it is the verison played by the Ensemble Explorations.

The manuscript of RV 420 is not available (to me at least) but I will do RV 401 some time soon. The Ensemble Explorations recordings are very nice.

A experiência de Vivaldi com a música para o drama, certamente trouxe a seus concertos essa dramaticidafe. Os solos figurativos do mestre são um tecer intenso; os solos cantantes são os melhores do barroco.

Yes, the third mvt. allegro sounds much better when played like presto!
