I would have been 7 years old in 1973 living in Perth. I loved to hear the sound of the Ford V8’s as a child and watching Bathurst with my Grandfather. I would be constantly asking Dad can we go to the Ford dealer and test drive some V8’s. We did regularly but sadly Dad wouldn’t part with his XY Falcon 500

So the XA was the first falcon where the hi beam and horn were repositioned to the indicator stem...,.combined with that dash cool as in 72

Xa gt should be 4v heads not 2v

When the last of the US Clevos ran dry which were 4v we started making the Cleveland in Australia and they were 2v so you'll find a few with the 2v.
